Transformers Toy Spoils "The Fallen"

Transformers Toy Spoils "The Fallen"

A toy entitled ‘The Fallen’ has surfaced via Transformers in China, TF08. Its head matches the face seen on the Revenge of the Fallen poster and now confirms that ‘The Fallen’ is indeed a character, rather than a reference to a downed Megatron or Optimus Prime.

The third image shows a transformation sheet, with an alt mode that looks like a strange jet. The character himself looks spiky, evil and ancient.

The Fallen from what ive heard is a new alien race other than Autobots and Decepticons. Its not a juz one bot but i think its gonna be a group. But i could be wrong though as im not sure.

Anyhow. thanks for the pics and i love the 2nd one!

I still don't get what the giant wheeled, erm, thing it tranforms into is

still looks pretty darn cool though. I'm looking forward to Transformers:ROTFL.

So, "The Fallen" isn't an actual reference to the character of the same name? OR the downed Transformers? Hmm, I don't think I'm very happy with that. The toy on the other hand, looks like a knock off or something, it doesn't at ALL look good, IMO. It looks like one of theback wall Odd-Lots special, seriously.

So, if it IS a seperate alien race aside from the Transformers, does that mean they're going to be like the Covenant, or the Flood from Halo? Kind of what the reminds me of...

@ soulallflush: the giant wheeled transformer isnt the fallen, its a constructicon, but at the same time its not Devestator either, its shown at the start of the movie, they reported it in an interview.

It could still be the Fallen from the comic books. If so, we might be getting a look at Unicorn by the end of Revenge of the Fallen or perhaps in a third film. Hopefully they won't f*$k this one up too bad by concentrating too much on the humans like they did in the first movie. Call me crazy, but I like my Transformers movies to actually have Transformers in them for more than 1/2 hour.

I hate to be skeptical, but this toy looks pretty washed out and since the pictures appear to have been taken in an Asian country I doubt the authenticity of this. The Diagram kinda looks like the Megatron toy. I don't know. I will be skeptical until Hasbro themselves come out with the toys.

i could f&**ing see where this is going if this toy is legit. i mean the toy has a how do u say, very big egyptian feel and look of it, and apparently part of the movie takes place in Egypt. i feel a big ripoff of xmen and Apocalypse coming!!!!

Yeah the extra articulated leg thing is severely whored out. im surprised he doesnt have one gun arm or something.

in general i wish the design of the autobots and decepticons didnt have so many parts.

The asian world always has things way before N.Aericans do but still, this could be a complete knockoff of the actual megatron from the first transformers. The only thing that showes it is of transformers origin is the schematics. Other than that, it's all in chinese. No decals to tell otherwise. Megatron already gets a facelift for the new movie. Either way, I don't feel this is a "spoiler" by any means. I bet the "Fallen" character is going to be Ra or something. I seen the trailer that was on at the superbowl and it looked superb. Can't wait!!!

im actually more excited to see Devastator, the giant unicycle, but if they are doing the Fallen, then i hope that there might be some other mega transformers in the next movie, (maybe vector primus?).
this toy makes him look kind of like an enemy out of metroid or something...

Godl1ng, the unicycle thing isnt devestator, its a different constructicon, they said it in an interview

that unicycle thing is supposedly only part of Devestator!

if it IS another "alien race" could it also be referred to dinobots? who first came to earth and was unearthed because of a massive war against the retaliating decepticons?

That toy looks terrible. Still, I can't wait for the movie to come out!!!!!

Oh, boy... This thing looks even worse than the robots from the first movie!!
(And that's saying something!)
They should have simplified the designs a little, and made the robots more relatable. I could hardly bear staring at Optimus Prime's "lips" for more than a few moments without flinching in disgust, they gave us "Soundwave the Boombox/Cellphone" that looked like some kind of freak, swiss army knife, and now this?!

adamant877 - 2/8/2009, 9:24 PM
I agree with Ion, vinny112, and joob234... This thing looks like Megatron got freaky with one of the ships from Stargate!?
(I smell another copyright infringement lawsuit coming on!) lol

Still think it's too early to write off any ideas...i'm sure they know what they're doing. After all, we all enjoyed the first installment to the Transformers series.

As for parascythe's comment though, the dinobots were NOT an alien race. They were created by one of the Autobots after going to an exhibit with Spike in the original cartoon. They were inspired by the size of the dinosaur remains and it gave him the idea to build larger, stronger autobots.

I don't buy this one bit. Like others have stated, the toy looks too crappy to be authentic.
