Will James Cameron's Avatar Trailer Premiere In Front Of Transformers ROTF?

This bit of news comes from Latinoreview.com unfortunately Fox Studios is denying this bit of news so its officially unofficial.

"We are finally going to see the AVATAR trailer and it is in front of TRANSFORMERS 2. I have heard that from multiple sources and while it seems that TERMINATOR: SALVATION was in the running, TRANSFORMERS 2 won out."

"However, the AVATAR trailer in front of TRANSFORMERS 2 has been confirmed by these same sources - which kind of makes it all the more valid in my eyes."

Avatar is a 3D movie. Are we getting 3D glasses to check out the trailer in front of Transformers ROTF? Guess we will just have to wait and see. According to Cameron this is the technology of the future. Cameron has not touched other properties in the last 5 years or so because of his time he is devoting to this movie. Hopefully we will believe in Avatar as much as James does, when we finally see it.

I've heard good things about this movie. Apparently Cameron's using some new motion capture animation technology to pull this off, and he's even allowed Lucas, Spielberg and Jackson to test out the new technology and visit the set to see it in action.

I think it's gonna be big.

I think there's so much hype that it won't show that much on screen and we'll all be let down. Hopefully, i'm wrong.

@redrum010 Avatar is basically a "war in outer space" movie, with humans able to possess alien bodies (avatars). I know my information is not very informative, so I think your best bet would be to read this:

i have been looking forward to seeing this movie for a while and i think its gonna be BIG!!!!!!!!!!as in big enough to have an impact on the way we watch movies and the industry its self CANT F***ING WAIT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

bestofdabest899- And what makes you say that??? Cause Cameron said it? He also said that "Dark Angel" was a good series... that was a total fail IMO. I don't wanna dis Avatar before it comes out but i'm sure as hell not gonna praise it without seeing at least a trailer.

I have never heard of a movie being so hyped up without even a single still shot of one of the actors! I love Camerons sci fi movies though so im sure it wont disappoint.

GUNSMITH, must you always write everything in capitals and "WHO THE FOCK KNOWS" is 100% neccesary? But you are right, i mean, T2 DID change the way we see movies..

given that we should give JC a chance.. though he hasn´t showed anything so far... where can we see those concept drawings you mentioned?

btw, that poster says "SUMER 2009", was it posponed till 2010?

I don't doubt it will be good cause i like the concept and so far "film wise" he hasn't disapointed. But to say that it WILL be BIG and change the way we watch movies in the industry... i dunno. It seems prematurely ejaculated IMO.

My dau loves the Avatar. Its pretty good cartoon aimed more for the tweens. I hope the movie does well for her. They fight alot, different technics so maybe you guys wont mind the movie too much if they keep to the source. Noticed I said IF.

KeepItReal- James Cameron's Avatar is not the same Avatar your daughter watches. Nickelodeon's Avatar "the last airbender" movie will be made by M. Night Shayamalackalack. both look promissing, i just hope M. Night doesn't screw up on this one. He did great with Stuart Little so you never know :)
