'Vertigo' was certainly an interesting episode of Arrow. The showrunners have confirmed that we haven't seen the last of The Count so expect him to pop back up in the near future. You have to wonder what a large dose of the drug has done to his already frazzled psyche. What did you think of the ep, vote in the poll below and then carry on the discussion in the comment section.

SETH GABEL (“FRINGE”) GUEST STARS WHILE THEA FACES PRISON TIME — Thea (Willa Holland) is in trouble with the police after she gets caught using a drug called “Vertigo.” Oliver (Stephen Amell) thinks the only way to keep her out of jail is to find the dealer, a man who goes by the name of “The Count” (guest star Seth Gabel). Oliver turns to McKenna Hall (guest star Janina Gavankar), an old flame and current Vice cop, for help. Meanwhile, Laurel (Katie Cassidy) steps in to defend Thea, and Felicity (guest star Emily Bett Rickards) gives Oliver some disturbing news about Moira (Susanna Thompson). David Ramsey, Colin Donnell and Paul Blackthorne also star. Wendey Stanzler directed the episode written by Wendy Mericle & Ben Sokolowski (#112).

I thought it was good, not great. I was hoping more from "Count Vertigo."

Seeing Deathstroke is always a plus. Also, Oliver's vice cop friend, Mckenna(Janina Gavankar) was cool. I hope we see more of her.

And not just because Janina Gavankar is very hot, but I really liked her character. I think she has potential to be a great character.

The tone of this show has been set from the very beginning, so I don't understand why people who don't like the shows premise are coming on to its episode 12 discussion and whining about it.

I liked this episode quite a bit.

The Count was an odd mix of Ledgers Joker and Tennants Doctor although obviously not near as talented. Still, loved the character and how wacky he was.

DEATHSTROKE IS [frick]ING AWESOME, HELL YES

I thought the episode was pretty good, but I hope the island stuff doesn't turn into Lost.

I liked it, but I was expecting The Count to do more. He sort of just went out like a chump...
In fact, he reminded me of Blackheart from Ghost Rider!
But it was a good episode, Stephen Amell's really getting better at being Ollie!

In case you didn't get the point this was a origin story for Count Vertigo he may be a very different character after this episode seeing he lived threw a major overdose of his vertigo and they gave the impression that this may change him completly.

Speedy will probably be the Arsenal version.

I have to laugh at all the peeps saying this episode 'wasnt very good' or 'the worst on this season'. It wouldnt be shocking if the implant portion of the Count's powers was surgically implanted secondary to this episodes' OD.

Would naysayers rather Quinn hop around in kelly green Robin Hood attire with the obvious and distinctive pointy beard? And did you expect for the grounded version of the Count to put up much of a physical challenge for Quinn? Or were you disappointed that he didnt have a more traditional costume like [frick]ing Wizzo on the Bozo show?

Did anybody noticed that Thea was named Thea Dearden Quinn, as in Mia Dearden aka Speedy?

@KnightOfSteel,

Good point: "It takes more creativity and talent to make a character like Count Vertigo work than it does to make them realistic and boring."

Arrow feel sorta like smallville.....
you get excited that a new character is coming...but they always end up being watered down....

Smallville had some great original characters, mostly in the early seasons.

The count was cool but it was a total rip off of Batman Begins, injecting him with his own drug and saying "get a taste of your own medicine" should have made The count more Like Ra's Al Ghul than scarecrow

Other than that I loved the episode, only episode I hated was the Firefly one, firefly was just lame and he's a batman villain. Bring in Roy Harper for season 2
