IGN have just posted our first look at Deathstroke, played by Jeffrey Robinson. The master assassin will appear in the 5th episode of Arrow, 'Damaged'..

After a violent shipwreck, billionaire playboy Oliver Queen was missing and presumed dead for five years before being discovered alive on a remote island in the Pacific. When he returns home to Starling City, his devoted mother Moira, much-beloved sister Thea, and best friend Tommy welcome him home, but they sense Oliver has been changed by his ordeal on the island. While Oliver hides the truth about the man he's become, he desperately wants to make amends for the actions he took as the boy he was. Most particularly, he seeks reconciliation with his former girlfriend, Laurel Lance. As Oliver reconnects with those closest to him, he secretly creates the persona of Arrow – a vigilante – to right the wrongs of his family, fight the ills of society, and restore Starling City to its former glory. By day, Oliver plays the role of a wealthy, carefree and careless philanderer he used to be – flanked by his devoted chauffeur/bodyguard, John Diggle – while carefully concealing the secret identity he turns to under cover of darkness. However, Laurel's father, Detective Quentin Lance, is determined to arrest the vigilante operating in his city. Meanwhile, Oliver's own mother, Moira, knows much more about the deadly shipwreck than she has let on – and is more ruthless than he could ever imagine.

The series stars Stephen Amell as Oliver Queen, Colin Donnell as Tommy, Katie Cassidy as Laurel Lance, David Ramsey as John Diggle, Willa Holland as Thea Queen, with Susanna Thompson as Moira Queen and Paul Blackthorne as Detective Quentin Lance.

The second episode of Arrow airs Wednesday on the CW.

Looks pretty damn good..now I like Deadshot not wearing full face mask, don't need every villain with a mask on but Deathstroke HAS to have his cool mask.
He's a deadly mercenary, assassin & needs anonymity in his line of work.
Deadshot is a lesser threat, don't care bout him as much.

If they do show Deathstroke's face,he better have a full head of white hair & goatee.
Not a bald old turd like Smallville portrayed Slade to be.
Would be great if they have Ollie stab him in his eye socket like he did in Identity Crisis.
Flashback in start of episode one hinted at that.

Looks great, I just hope there's a bit more orange on the rest of his costume, even if it's just a few more accents like on his grenades...

You know what CW, just make this happen:

Not bad for a CW television show.

"They still claim they're going to keep this thing "gritty" LMAO. When guys start showing up wearing colorful D.C. masks (every costume and mask in D.C. is colorful except for Batman), it ain't gonna be all that "gritty"."

Yes, because we all know gritty and color just don't mix. Just check out Tarantino's films...should have never put Uma in that yellow outfit...just ruined the grittiness...oops :-P

*end sarcasm*

aw come on brotha, the pilot wasn't that bad...it wasn't that great either. but hey, it was the pilot. I did really enjoy the fact that they added the internal monologue for ollie. always wonder why that aspect of comic books are rarely translated over to film or tv.

Look if you liked it, more power to ya, I didn't, and I can back up every criticism I have for it. I keep hearing "Aww, it was ok, it;s the CW, what do you expect" etc..excuses. With the level of brilliance being displayed on television these days, Arrow is actually downright embarrassing...BUT, I also acknowledge that it was the first ep, I will keep watching it in case it improves, but that pilot, which is all we have to go on for now, thumbs down from me.

Deathstroke does look decent.

Looks 100% better than the old dude from Smallville.

But I wonder, does this show have a soul?
