In the penultimate chapter of
Crisis on Infinite Earths, The Spectre (a.k.a. Oliver Queen) battled the Anti-Monitor and used his powers to create both Earth-Prime and a new Mutliverse.
Now,
Crisis showrunner Marc Guggenheim has shared some Zoic Studios concept art offering a new look at the Green Arrow's final act of heroism before he once again made the ultimate sacrifice. As you can see, Oliver is shown unleashing his newfound powers to save the Arrowverse, but one big interesting change here is that the vigilante is wearing his Green Arrow costume.
It's possible that he wasn't always meant to become The Spectre, as you have to imagine this crossover event went through some big changes as all the pieces started falling into place.
Stephen Amell has previously expressed disappointment with the way his first death in this shared world, so hopefully, he was happier knowing that the character he played for all those years ultimately saved the entire Multiverse and helped create a whole new status quo for the Arrowverse.
