The CW's Elseworlds crossover event finished up tonight, but we now know what's coming for the network's stable of DC Comics characters next year!
In the prologue, we see Batwoman contact Oliver Queen to let him know that Deegan has "made a new friend." We then cut to the deformed Doctor and Psycho Pirate in the cell next to him, who proclaims that "worlds will live, worlds will die, and the universe will never be the same."
In the comics, The Crisis on Infinite Earths began when The Anti-Monitor decided to erase all life in the universe, bringing together heroes and villains from each earth to combat the threat.
Though the small-screen adaptation will almost certainly take a few liberties with the source material, Psycho Pirate is clearly going to play a pivotal role.
