While Black Lightning may air on the same network as every other Arrowverse series, it has yet to participate in any of the annual crossovers. However, it seems that will all change this fall.

Earlier this week, the folks at FandomWire reported that star Cress Williams would reprise his role as Jefferson Pierce in the upcoming Crisis on Infinite Earths event, and now Williams himself has seemingly confirmed their claim.

In a recent Instagram post, the actor shared this report and added an interesting caption: “You asked for it. . . you got it.” Although The CW has yet to comment on the subject, Williams’ comment strongly suggests that he will at least appear in the upcoming crossover.

If Black Lightning does in fact connect to the massive Arrowverse event, then there’s also a good chance fans will see Nafessa Williams and Chine Anne McClain reprise their roles as his heroic daughters, Thunder and Lightning.

Now, what do you folks think? Do you want to see the hero make his presence felt in the wider Arrowverse. To share your thoughts, leave a comment below.

HELL YEAH!!! HELL MUTHA&$@KIN YEAH!!! Truly made no sense why this show isn’t part of the Arrowverse. Stop crying about tones don’t fit. It’s a superhero show at the end of the day and it’s a BERLANTI superhero show on the CW. Let’s get the crossover going!

If he does appear in the crossovers, if he fights either or or Flash I'd prefer he wins the fight only cause hes a veteran vigilante compared to the other two. I don't wanna see Arrow take him out easily. Besides that I'm excited. Git halfway through season 2 and havent picked it back up but last I saw antonius was still a threat for whatever reason.

Was Batwoman in the main Arrow universe or was she part of Supergirl's exiled universe? I'm only asking because, for one I just don't remember much from her oh so spectacular ten seconds of screentime during the last crossover, but mainly if they're going to continue this multiverse angle then the least they can do is try to balance which characters are parts of which universe so they're either all in one or evenly spread between two.

Roundabout way of trying to figure out just where Mr I Got Lightning In My Pants falls.
