Long before the announcement of the DC streaming service, I have wanted a network devoted to nothing but comic book based programming.  In thinking about the network that is forthcoming, I thought about how you would program the daily line-up.  I also considered what they could do for holidays.  Granted, this is just a starting idea and there is plenty of room for additional programming.  I present my ideas for your enjoyment:

Weekdays

7-8pm Chuck

8-10pm 2 Hour Blocks (Superboy Monday, Human Target/The Man From Atlantis

Tuesday, Witchblade/Birds of Prey Wednesday, Time Trax Thursday, Titans and

another original series Friday)

10-11pm The Flash

11-midnight Arrow

12-2am Smallville

2-3am Chuck

3-4am Lois And Clark: The New Adventures of Superman

4-5am Wonder Woman/DC News Hour Wednesday

5-6am Gotham

6-6:30am The Adventures of Superboy

6:30-7am The Adventures of Superman

Weekends

7-8am Filmation hour

8-9am Super Friends hour

9-9:30am Batman The Brave and the Bold

9:30-10am Hong Kong Phooey/Captain Caveman

10-10:30am Green Lantern/Beware The Batman

10:30-11am The Batman

11-11:30am Young Justice

11:30-noon Teen Titans Go

9-10pm iZombie

10-11pm Lucifer

Saturday

11pm-1am Tales from the Crypt

1-2am Blade The Series

2-4am rerun The Adventures of Superman

4-6am Batman (previous Sunday or upcoming Sunday episodes)

6-6:30am The Adventures of Superboy

6:30-7am The Adventures of Superman

Sunday

11pm-7am movies and matinee serials

Holidays

New Year’s: Countdown of shows as voted by the viewers

Valentine’s Day: Cupid episodes of Arrow, Valentine’s episodes of Supergirl and The Flash,

Romantic themed Lois & Clark episodes, and so on

St. Patrick’s Day: Green Lantern and Arrow, maybe tinted green for the day

Good Friday-Easter: Movies all weekend

Memorial Day: Season 1 of Wonder Woman

July 4th: Superman marathon

Labor Day: Powerless or other job oriented shows

Halloween: iZombie, Constantine, or Tales from the Crypt marathon

Thanksgiving: Thanksgiving episodes (Smallville, Chuck, Supergirl)
Christmas Eve/Day: Christmas episodes of all DC shows

There are other original show possibilities. They could do a series discussing the history of characters from DC and the other imprints (Midnighter & Apollo, Green Lantern, the Joker, iZombie, etc). Also, I think the perfect companion show to Titans would be The Question. It should be like a police crime proc3edural, and it would have a relatively low budget with few special effects needed. Anyway, feel free to leave a comment and let me know what you think...

Unfortunately, WB announced nothing at Comic-Con, so we still have to wait...
