GOTHAM: A Family Business

Nursevil here.  This is my first post so I hope that you will like it.  If not, I will show you a magic trick on how to make a pencil disappear!

I was watching Gotham's "The mask" episode and all of the sudden I had a Revelation.  In my opinion, I believe that Fish Mooney is actually Carmien Falcone's illegitimate daughter.  I know that you all waith with bated breath to her my theory so here..we..Go.

In "The Mask", Fish tells Liza that an associate of Carmine Falcone killed her mother for not providing good enough "enertainment" for him and that incident caused Fish to strive for power and the will to take out Falcone.  Later on in that episode when the old woman that had been singing up on the stage while Fish and Liza were talking came up to Fish and basically asked fish why she had lied to that girl.  Fish told the old woman that every lie had an element of truth.

I believe that the old woman was really Fish's mother and that Falcone was actually her father.  There have been some subtle clues since the beginning of the show.  The was Fish and Falcone talk with each other, there is more anger of Fish's part and more disappointment on Falcone's part that can be explianed by their surface relationship.  There have been several times that any other crime boss would have had Fish killed and put another person in charge of her rackets.  Falcone has shown restraint even when Penguin has given him evidence that would have sealed another associates's death warrent.  Something other than good business must be staying his hand.  I sensed more and as a father with a daughter, now I know why.
 
Finally, Fish said in an earlier episone that when she took over, the change would be like a hand sliding into a glove.  Shen then had Liza steal the last two pages out of a ledger in a locked drawn in Falcone's study.  I wonder if that was the proof she needed to prove to the "family" that Falcone was her father and that as his daughter , she was the logical one to take over the business, after she brought him down of course.
