GOTHAM Set Photos Feature A Bloodied 'Jim Gordon' And Cameron Monaghan As 'The Joker'

When Gotham wrapped up earlier this year, showrunner Bruno Heller had this to say about what they have planned for The Joker in season two. "We're going to find out how the hell Jerome, the proto-Joker we met earlier in this season, connects with the Joker as people known him. That's the big focus of the beginning of the second season. We're going to tell the story of how the Joker came to be." As you can see from the photos below (via Just Jared), that transformation has already begun, and Cameron Monaghan's Instagram post is also a pretty interesting teaser...

You know, I'm not one of those who always consider seeing the Joker's origin as sacrilege. It was done really well in Arkham Origins and Zero Year, and considering Jerome was one of the strongest elements of Gotham last season, maybe it can be done well here.

I don't mind the actor they cast. I didn't even mind his acting in that episode of the first season, hell i kinda liked it.

But it's the Joker... I dunno, i just feel like there's something wrong about this
