FOX has released promo and premiere photos of the new season of Human Target, check them out past the loop and some new details too...

Human Target season 2 will be starring: Mark Valley, Jackie Earle Haley, Chi McBride, and the new addition and actress Indira Varna.





















News is episode #2.3 is titled "Taking Ames" and episode #2.4 is "The Return of Baptiste."

FOX recently announced the second season premiere of Human Target will now be on October 1 Friday night, not September 24 which was originally announced.

Love this show. A real throwback "guy's" show, like the stuff I enjoyed as a kid (Star Trek, Wild, Wild West, Six Million Dollar Man). I hope the dynamic isn't too altered with all the new female characters ... though I understand why they had to do that. I hope it finds its audience this year.

And yeah, Valley would have made a great Cap ... New Yorker, former Army officer, blond hair, blue eyes, square jaw, thick neck, cool guy ... ah well. He is a little too old now though. Timing is everything....

THOSE BASTERDS CANCELED EVERY THING I LOVE FIREFLY AND TERMINATOR AND SAMURAI GIRL

THOUGHT I LOVED KINGS AND Journeyman IN NBC BUT THAT WAS ALSO CANCELED

I love this show. And I kind of like it better then the comic which is crazy. I really like the back story they are slowly revealing.

@Everyone who has not had a chance to see the show there are only 2 episodes you really need to watch before the new season "Baptiste" and the season finale. Both and a couple others you can watch on Hulu and Fox.com.

Luigi and others not familiar with the show - I know very little about the comic version of the character, so I can't compare it, but if you like action shows with strong, likeable male leads wrapping up self-contained stories every week, then you should like it. It also has some ongoing back story mysteries to keep you coming back every week. To me, the first season episodes played like hour-long feature films, with some big-scale action set pieces, high-intensity fight choreography and larger than life plots. All done with good humor and panache. Hope this helps.

Love this show. Can't wait until the premier.
@TANKGIRL- I KNOW! WTF!!! First Firefly, then Terminator. If they cancelled this to, I'd have to stop watching FOX all together. I never saw Samurai Girl, was it any good? Let me know and I'll go check it out.

Wow, I completely forgot about Human Target. Great show, for anybody that hasn't watched it.

I hope that with a Friday schedule, HT will gain more viewers and higher ratings. I'd hate to see it get canceled.

LEEE @ I watched the original show when I was 8 years old in 1992. It was ont 7 episodes on ABC on Saturday nights. When they had the advebntures of the Young Indiana Jones. The show had Rick Springfeild as Chance. He was a Vietnam Vet turned bodyguard. He would use maskery to protect his clients. Also in the show was Kirk Baltz (he was clay face in the Birds of Prey series in 2003)Sami Chester and Signy Coleman were also in it. For its time it was awesome. I mean being an 8 year old kid and having a guy change into different people was pretty cool. I havent been able to find it yet. Did you try Youtube? It may be on there.

I am going to give the show a half season or so more before I decide whether I am hanging it up. The back story is alright, but the main episode plots are all things I have seen before on other shows (terrorists at the top of a mountain and tram fight...guerillas in the jungle...corrupt boxing promoter...etc. etc.) I want to really like the show, but it hasn't pulled me in enough for me to be jumping up and down about it.
