Rip Is Tortured In New Promotional Stills From LEGENDS OF TOMORROW Season 2 Episode 10: "The Legion Of Doom"
The CW has released released six promotional stills from next Tuesday's installment of DC's Legends of Tomorrow featuring a look at a returning face, and also at Rip Hunter in a very sticky situation.
Next week, Rip Hunter finds himself in quite the predicament, which probably wouldn't have been much trouble for the original Rip, but for this doppelgänger it's as terrifying as it gets. While the Legion of Doom attempts to extort the former captain, the Legends scramble across time seeking a way to find & rescue their fallen leader, and it's Stein who comes up with a risky solution.

TAKING RISKS - The Legends are determined to find and rescue Rip (Arthur Darvill), but first must focus on locating the Spear of Destiny. Stein (Victor Garber) thinks he has the perfect person to help but knows involving her will be risky. Meanwhile, Malcom Merlyn (guest star John Barrowman) and Damien Darhk (guest star Neal McDonough) realize that Thawne (guest star Matt Letscher) is pitting them against each other. Caity Lotz, Brandon Routh, Dominic Purcell, Nick Zano, Franz Drameh and Maisie Richardson-Sellers also star. Eric Laneuville directed the episode written by Phil Klemmer & Marc Guggenheim (#210). After the defeat of the immortal villain Vandal Savage and the corrupt Time Masters who colluded with him, a new threat emerges. Dr. Nate Heywood, an unconventional and charming historian, is thrust into the action upon making a shocking discovery – the Legends are scattered throughout time.
Nate must find a way to rescue season one’s beloved team of heroes and rogues, including billionaire inventor Ray Palmer, who has created an exo-suit with the power to shrink him to miniscule size, as the Atom; Sara Lance, the White Canary, a trained assassin; Professor Martin Stein and Jefferson “Jax” Jackson, who together form the meta-human Firestorm; and Mick Rory, aka Heat Wave, a career criminal. When the Legends encounter the J.S.A in the 1940s, Amaya Jiwe, aka Vixen, joins the team. While the team reunites, a mystery looms – the fate of former captain Rip Hunter.
