TV executives will soon take to New York City for the television upfronts where they will announce the fates of your favourites shows. Current superhero favourites The Flash and Arrow have already been picked up for their second and fouth seasons respectively but will they be joined by a third DC Comics based show? The spinoff show, rumoured to be titled Legends of Tomrrow, will be headed to the CW either in the fall or mid season. Sources have revealed to Variety that a first look trailer will be shown at the networks presentation. Sticking with DC based shows, rumours that Supergirl is movng to the CW are untrue as the youth orientated network cannot meet the production costs. Melissa Benoist's Supergirl will likely recieve a full season order if CBS decides to go ahead with the project.

On the Marvel side of things, their is still no word on the fates of Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. and Agent Carter. A number of sites are reporting that Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. will be back for a third season but ABC is still on the fence with Agent Carter. The article also mentions that Oscar winning writer John Ridley's secret Marvel project will make it to air. What this means for the current shows and the Adrianne Palicki starring S.H.I.E.L.D. spin off is uncertain. Which of the rumoured shows are you most looking forward too? Let us know below and keep checking CBM for that Legends of Tomorrow sneak peek closer to the upfronts.

I still think CBS is the wrong network for Supergirl,
I can't see their demographic taking to it and it won't fit comfortably in their slate of shows

I don't mind Melissa Benoist, she's not a bad actress for something like this, but yeah, the choices they've made with characters and the concept as a whole looks like it's missed the mark. Especially since they have Flash and Arrow to build reference from for what a TV superhero show can be like

Don't forget Nakita (2 shows) and Dark Angel (Jessica Alba)

CBTV is taking over! Looking forward to all the shows mentioned above. I'm really intrigued about Super-Girl, I got a feeling its going to really good.

Wow so there's going to be potentially 4 MCU shows on ABC in the near future. More MCU the better!

If Supergirl doesn't get picked up then bring her into the DCCU since MOS already had an easter egg referencing her.

I'm on the fence about the AOS spin-off with Mockingbird and Lance Hunter...

Don't get me wrong, I think both characters are great, especially Adrianne Palicki as Mockingbird.

It just seems rather unnecessary though.

Supergirl has a real good chance to be the longest running female superhero show on tv. Dont let us down DC!

Is it feasible for WB to have their own cable station to feature superhero type tv series/ movies/ cartoon? I know the CW will not want to end up being labeled the superhero/comic book network... they already have four under their belt(Arrow, Flash, iZombie and Legends of Tomorrow)
