SUPERGIRL: Carl Lumbly Returns In More New Photos From Season 3, Episode 15: "In Search Of Lost Time"
Following last night's first look at Mon-El's new red suit, The CW has released seven more promotional stills from the April 23rd hour, this time spotlighting the return of Carl Lumbly as J'onn's father.
While the April 23rd episode will see Mon-El (Chris Wood) put on his new comic-accurate red suit, the main storyline will actually follow J'onn as he deals with an issue with his father Myr'nn (Carl Lumbly), who's been inadvertently causing psychic disturbances at the DEO. The CW has released an additional seven promotional stills from the hour, featuring a look at the chaos Myr'nn is causing, including Winn (Jeremy Jordan) acting very out of character.
The hour will also see Mon-El begin training Kara (Melissa Benoist) in the art of fighting Worldkillers and his timing probably couldn't be any better as episode seventeen is titled "Trinity," which likely suggests that we'll be meeting the third Worldkiller much sooner rather than later.

J'ONN HAS TO FACE THE TRUTH ABOUT HIS FATHER - When Myr'nn (guest star Carl Lumbly) inadvertently causes psychic disturbances at the DEO, Supergirl (Melissa Benoist) must work with J'onn (David Harewood) to contain the resulting chaos. Meanwhile, Mon-El (Chris Wood) begins training Kara in fighting techniques he's learned in the future for battling Worldkillers. Andi Armaganian directed the episode with story by Eric Carrasco and teleplay by Katie Rose Rogers & Nicki Holcomb (#315). Original airdate 4/23/2018.

As Superman’s cousin, Kara Danvers (aka Supergirl) balances her work as a reporter for CatCo Worldwide Media with her work for the Department of Extra-Normal Operations (DEO), a super-secret government organization whose mission is to keep National City – and the Earth – safe from sinister threats. At the DEO, Kara works for J’onn J’onzz, the Martian Manhunter, and alongside her sister, Alex, and best friend, Winn Schott. Also in Kara’s life are James Olsen, a photo journalist who moonlights as Guardian, a masked vigilante, Lena Luthor, and Mon-El of Daxam, whose planet was ravaged by Krypton’s destruction. In season three, Kara and team will come up against a new threat in the form of DC Worldkiller, Reign.
