SUPERGIRL: Kara Reunites With Her Mother In New Photos From Season 3, Episode 20: "Dark Side Of The Moon"
Next week, when Kara and Mon-El learn that a part of Krypton may have survived, they head on a risky mission to investigate and make the discovery of a lifetime when they reunite with Kara's mother.
With only four episodes remaining in this current season of Supergirl, next week's installment is shaping up to a big one as Kara (Melissa Benoist) and Mon-El (Chris Wood) make a discovery that could finally give them the upperhand against Reign (Odette Annable) and her Worldkiller threat.
Yesterday's promo and the new batch of photos have since confirmed that the pair will be traveling to Argo City - Kara's birthplace - where Kara will seemingly reunite with her mother Alura (Erica Durance), who appears to be very much alive. It remains to be seen exactly how this is possible, but expect to get answers next Monday night.

As Superman’s cousin, Kara Danvers (aka Supergirl) balances her work as a reporter for CatCo Worldwide Media with her work for the Department of Extra-Normal Operations (DEO), a super-secret government organization whose mission is to keep National City – and the Earth – safe from sinister threats. At the DEO, Kara works for J’onn J’onzz, the Martian Manhunter, and alongside her sister, Alex, and best friend, Winn Schott. Also in Kara’s life are James Olsen, a photo journalist who moonlights as Guardian, a masked vigilante, Lena Luthor, and Mon-El of Daxam, whose planet was ravaged by Krypton’s destruction. In season three, Kara and team will come up against a new threat in the form of DC Worldkiller, Reign.
