SUPERGIRL: There's A Murderer On The Loose In The New Promo For Season 4, Episode 12: "Menagerie"

Supergirl is taking next week off to watch Tom Brady & the Patriots in the Super Bowl and actually won't return until February 17th, but when it does, get ready for a Girl of Steel/Dreamer team-up.

Kara (Melissa Benoist) will be taking next week off to watch Tom Brady and the New England Patriots work their magic as they attempt to win a sixth Super Bowl and will also be off the following week as well, so the next brand new hour of Supergirl won't air until February 17th.

However, despite the two-week wait, the CW has shared a new promo and we've already seen tons of new photos from the episode, which gives us a pretty good idea of what to expect as the Girl of Steel teams-up with Dreamer (Nicole Maines) to stop a murderer that's suddenly causing mayhem in National City.

"Menagerie" - (8:00-9:00 p.m. ET) (TV-PG, V) (HDTV)

TBA (#412). Original airdate 2/17/2019.

Season three saw Supergirl stop Reign and the other Worldkillers’ threat to humanity and our planet, and in the process, Kara was shocked to find her mother Alura alive and living in a salvaged Argo City that survived the destruction of Krypton. Reconnecting with her past caused Kara to realize that her true home is now here on Earth, where big changes are taking place for her and all of her friends in National City – and also, it appears, for a doppelganger in Russia! Season four promises to be full of surprises, action, adventure and lots of big revelations for Supergirl, Alex, James, J’onn, Lena and Brainy.

Supergirl features:
Melissa Benoist as Kara Zor-El/Supergirl
Mehcad Brooks as James 'Jimmy' Olsen/Guardian
Chyler Leigh as Alexandra 'Alex' Danvers
Jeremy Jordan as Winslow 'Winn' Schott
David Harewood as J'onn J'onzz/Martian Manhunter
Katie McGrath as Lena Luthor
Jesse Rath as Querl Dox/Brainiac 5
Sam Witwer as Ben Lockwood/Agent Liberty
Nicole Maines as Nia Nal/Dreamer
April Parker Jones as Colonel Haley
David Ajala as Manchester Black
Rhona Mitra as Mercy Graves
Robert Baker as Otis Graves
Erica Durance as Alura Zor-El

Holy crap... Black Panther just won the big “Best Ensemble” award from the Screen Actors Guild. That’s going to shake up the Oscar race.

Uhh yeah, this wasn't the best episode. I actually thought it was the worst episode of the season. It was pretty boring and slow, and I really didn't care for the narrative. Sure there was a little action, but it didn't add much to the episode. Dreamer and her family were uninteresting. I also wasn't really a fan of how they handled Alex and her missing memories, a shame since I actually thought they did a good job with how they handled her losing her memory. And not sure if James was burrying a story to protect Lena, but that was kind of shady

Brainy was the best part of the episode, he continues to be very enjoyable this season, certainly one of the best parts. I also did like that Alex says they were "going to watch the greatest movie of all time," Terminator 2. :-)

I wonder if the Russian is trying to contact Lex Luthor. Also, the wannabe children of Liberty made me miss the Agent Liberty storyline. I hope he return sooner than later, because that storyline made the first 8 episodes so strong.

This season has actually had the best string of Supergirl episodes ever and then they killed that streak with this episode lol. But aye that first half of the season was prolly the best Supergirl has had, previous seasons have been unengaging but watchable-terrible.
