DC TV Synopses Tease The Elongated Man, Fort Rozz, And The Original Team Arrow

The CW has released the synopses for upcoming episodes of Supergirl, The Flash, and Arrow and as well as a return to Fort Rozz, we'll see The Elongated Man in action and the formation of a new Team Arrow.

Big things are coming in The CW's DC TV Universe and that's evident from this new batch of synopses for Supergirl, The Flash, and Arrow. In the Girl of Steel's series, the hero will be teaming up with an unexpected trio to help gain some much-needed information on Reign, a villain who left her comatose in the midseason finale after a brutal battle which took place across the entirety of National City.

The Fastest Man Alive, meanwhile, is still behind bars and that's going to lead to The Elongated Man having to step up and be Central City's hero; the question is, will he finally get a proper costume?

Finally, Arrow's synopsis points to Oliver continuing to rely on the original Team Arrow as opposed to the new recruits and that could open the door to Arsenal's return. We'll have to wait and see on that front, of course, but Cayden James is clearly ramping up his war against Oliver Queen. What do you guys think of these new details? As always, be sure to let us know your thoughts in the usual place.

SUPERGIRL - "Fort Rozz"

SUPERGIRL TEAMS UP WITH SATURN GIRL, LIVEWIRE AND PSI – As Reign (Odette Annable) continues to terrorize the city, Supergirl (Melissa Benoist) teams up with Saturn Girl (guest star Amy Jackson), and the two recruit Supergirl’s former enemies, Livewire (guest star Brit Morgan) and Psi (guest star Yael Grobglas), to form a team for a mission to Fort Rozz to recover a prisoner who has information on how to defeat Reign once and for all. Meanwhile, Alex (Chyler Leigh) babysits Ruby (guest star Emma Tremblay). Gregory Smith directed the episode written by Gabriel Llanas & Anna Musky-Goldwyn (#311). Original airdate 1/22/18.

THE FLASH - "The Elongated Knight Rises"

THE RISE OF THE HERO — When a familiar villain returns to terrorize Central City, Ralph (guest star Hartley Sawyer) must rise up to defend the innocent while Barry (Grant Gustin) is detained by his trial. Meanwhile, Barry searches for the strength to keep his optimism alive in the face of his new circumstances. Alexandra La Roche directed the episode written by Sterling Gates & Thomas Pound (#411).  Original airdate 1/23/2018.

ARROW - "We Fall"

WILLIAM LANDS IN CAYDEN JAMES’ CROSSHAIRS —  Cayden James (guest star Michael Emerson) ups the ante by launching his plan to take control of every aspect of the city. Despite the scope of Cayden’s plan, Oliver (Stephen Amell) is determined to foil it with just the Original Team Arrow – and without the aid of Rene (Rick Gonzalez), Dinah (Juliana Harkavy), or Curtis (Echo Kellum). But things get complicated when William (guest star Jack Moore) is endangered as a result of Cayden’s handiwork. Wendey Stanzler directed the episode written by Speed Weed & Spiro Skentzos (#611).  Original airdate 1/25/2018.

Are these shows still rating well?

Unless it’s on a streaming service, TV content in New Zealand will get airtime no matter what because the network has paid for it and can’t afford to not show it even if they move the times forward or back.

Oh and we have limited streaming services too.

Off-topic, but Drew Goddard must REALLY, TRULY regret abandoning Daredevil season one right now.

First Marvel blocks his chance to direct Sinister Six.

Now, they're blocking his chance to direct X-Force.....

And nobody even gives a shit about him HAHAHAHAAHAHAHA!!!!

The Trial of The Flash is kinda spoiled in it's veridict but it will be interesting to see how they prove his innocence. I'm here for Ralph getting one of his new suits.

I've wanted to see the interiors of Fort Rozz since the beginning so the episode sounds good.

I hope Arrow starts to pick itself up.

Alex is gonna adopt Ruby after Reign is defeated, finally becoming a mother. I do wonder if Ruby will develop powers too.
