On this new poster for The Flash's current fourth season, Barry Allen stands tall as he prepares for a showdown with the villainous Thinker? The question is, will he be able to outpace his new foe?
Season four of The Flash has gone down a very unexpected route with this week's episode a prime example of that. Barry Allen didn't don his superhero suit at all as the focus was instead shifted to the show's female cast as they looked to get Killer Frost out of a sticky situation. The CW series also doesn't have a speedster as the villain and there's no currently overarching mystery about his true identity.
The Flash has also boasted a much lighter tone this year and while that's felt a tad forced in places, it's definitely been fun and nowhere near as dark as last year's brooding season revolving around Savitar.
The Fastest Man Alive has yet to come face to face with The Thinker but that's bound to happen sooner rather than later as the villain's plan for Central City takes shape.
