We knew it was coming and now some details on DC Universe have finally been officially revealed. As well as all the original new shows which are coming to the streaming service, there's going to be a plethora of classic DC TV shows and movies, including Batman: The Animated Series, Lynda Carter's Wonder Woman (in HD for the first time) and animated offerings like The Flashpoint Paradox.

There will also be all the classic Batman and Superman live-action movies. As for the comic books, there will be a library featuring every single comic book ever published by DC and fans will be able to scroll through those not just on their phones and tablet but on television as well. That means you can read everything from Action Comics #1 to Geoff Johns' Justice League run on your 64" 4K television!

DC Universe members will also be given exclusive access to various action figures and collector's items from DC Collectibles, including six-inch action figures based on Justice League: The Animated Series. There will also be a new fan forum for those who share a love of all things DC and an extensive encyclopaedia if you fancy delving deep into this world or just want to check out some facts.

Titans

Confirmed to debut on the platform later this year, the new synopsis for Titans reveals that it will follow, "young heroes from across the DC Universe as they come of age and find belonging in a gritty take on the classic Teen Titans franchise. Dick Grayson and Rachel Roth, a special young girl possessed by a strange darkness, get embroiled in a conspiracy that could bring Hell on Earth. Joining them along the way are the hot-headed Starfire and loveable Beast Boy. Together they become a surrogate family and team of heroes." Could it be that the big bad will be Raven's father, Trigon?

Along with that comes a couple of new images from the series featuring Brenton Thwaites's Robin.

Harley Quinn

We don't have any imagery from the Harley Quinn animated series but it is officially set to debut on DC Universe next year. When it was initially revealed, we heard that it would focus on the character's attempts to take over Gotham City but it now appears as if Harley is setting her sights a little higher.

"Harley Quinn follows Harley’s adventures after she breaks up with the Joker and strikes out on her own in this new adult animated comedy. With the help of Poison Ivy and a ragtag crew of DC castoffs, Harley tries to earn a seat at the biggest table in villainy: the Legion of the Doom."

Young Justice: Outsiders

Fans of Young Justice have been hoping and praying that the series would return and, as we've known for a while now, it will call this platform home. While fan-favourites like Nightwing and Superboy are nowhere to be seen, the roster has been revealed as including Blue Beetle, Kid-Flash, Thirteen, Artemis, Spoiler, Robin, Wonder Girl, and Static Shop. You can see all of them in the new image below.

Doom Patrol And Swamp-Thing

As expected, the live-action Doom Patrol series will debut in 2019 and is set to focus on some of the strangest superheroes ever created by DC: Robotman,Negative Man, Elasti-Woman, and Crazy Jane, summoned by the enigmatic Dr. Niles Caulder and called into action by Cyborg. Swamp-Thing, meanwhile, is also coming next year and follows Abby Arcane as she investigates a strange swamp in Louisiana with mystical and terrifying secrets. Understandably, no images have been released yet.

According to what I read, it won't be "every single DC comic book ever". It will contain a lot, but it will be curated. It's also launching on iOS, Android, Roku, Apple TV, Amazon Fire TV, and Android TV, with no word about actual computers mentioned. Which is awesome, something I won't even be able to use. It also listed the comic book series that will be available: 52 (2006)
Action Comics (1938)
Adventure Comics (1958)
Aquaman (2011)
Batman (2002)
Cyborg (2015)
Deathstroke (2014)
Detective Comics (1939)
Green Arrow: Year One (2007)
Green Lantern (2011)
Harley Quinn (2013)
JLA (1997)
Justice League (2011)
My Greatest Adventure (1963)
Suicide Squad (2011)
Superman/Batman (2004)
Swamp Thing (1972)
Teen Titans (1965)
The Flash (2011)
Wonder Woman (2011)

What a collection of crap comics they've assembled except for Detective and Action. Batman after 1993 sucked so much, anything New 52 sucks, and not a single solo Superman book? DC done trolled us.

More importantly, which report is actually accurate, because this site's report is VASTLY different to what I read on GameSpot.

And where the hell am I going to get the time to watch full length movies, let alone TV shows, on the go? Plus I'd be a dick to everyone, going around invading their privacy with my DC stuff. That's if I even go to a place that has free wifi...

Marvel still wins. I can actually read comics on the computer, I don't need to spend $700 plus the monthly fee to access what I want.
