Batman was only glimpsed in the shadows during the first season of
Titans, but fans will be able to put a face to the cape and cowl when the show returns to the DC Universe streaming service next fall.
According to
Deadline, Iain Glen (Game of Thrones, Kick-Ass 2) has been cast as an older take on Bruce Wayne.
We don't know if Glen will actually suit-up as the Dark Knight on the show, but based on the official character breakdown it sounds like he and Robin (or will that be Nightwing?) are going to have more of a
Batman Beyond-type dynamic.
“After decades of fighting crime as Batman, billionaire Bruce Wayne is just as driven to protect Gotham from evil as he was in his prime. Needing to reconcile his relationship with Dick Grayson, the duo hope to forge a new dynamic as Bruce tries to help his former sidekick and the Titans achieve success.”
