New TITANS Images Provide Our First Look At Jason Todd Suited-Up As The Boy Wonder

A couple of new stills from the DC Universe Titans show have been released online, and they give us our first official glimpse of 20th Century Women actor Curran Walters as the second Robin, Jason Todd...

We got a glimpse of actor Curran Walters as Jason Todd on the set of Titans a couple of months ago, but now thanks to IGN we have our first look at the character fully suited-up as Robin.

As we know, the DC Universe show will find Dick Grayson striking out on his own in an attempt to get out from the shadow of the Bat, but it seems The Dark Knight will waste little time in bringing on a replacement sidekick.

These stills don't seem to suggest a particularly friendly meeting between the Boy Wonders! Maybe Dick is mad that Robin #2 is sporting an almost identical costume.

Here's what showrunner Greg Walker had to say about this first ever live-action incarnation of Jason Todd:

"What I really love about [Jason] as a character is the unbridled sense of self that he has - there’s a lack of... maybe self-awareness, but for sure self-consciousness in terms of how he comports himself and how he moves through the world. He’s completely seemingly unaffected by darkness - he kind of embraces it or walks right through it. He’s a breath of fresh air and that’s what I love about him, he’s got a punk rock, no-holds-barred attitude that’s massively unburdened. There’s a lot of energy that comes with that."

Titans is set to premiere in the DC Universe streaming service on October 12.

They look good... if I could see them through the gloom.

Minus Starfire this show is actually looking pretty good.

Yes the F Batman trailer was underwhelming but I think it might not tell the whole story and since expectations are low the final product might surprise.

@DCFilmJunkie - I felt like the trailer didn't give us enough of Starfire to properly determine her look.
It kind of looks like they're going to have it look like there's a fire under her skin when using her powers. And honestly, if that's what they do, it could be worse.

I'm more worried about Dick.

@Philip - It’s more or less the outfit and hair I’m not a fan of, I know a costume is more than likely coming though so I can let the hair slide.

Dick doesn’t worry me, he looks good and regardless of the chatter about the F Batman stuff, in context it’ll play better.

The costumes for the Robins as well as Hawk and Dove are pretty good looking to be honest.

Everything else leaves a lot to be desired.

For some reason having Dick still in his Robin gear when meeting the next Robin sits wierd with me. Should be Nightwing before he meets Jason.

I suppose that's one way to hide how horrible this show is looking. Just make it so dark that you can't see how cheap it looks.

I really don't get how this looks so meh but Doom Patrol is both looking and sounding amazing. The set photos look just like the characters and the talent that's joining up with it is stellar.

@FearTheLiving - *To be clear I was partly joking, because I actually think the Robin costume doesn't look bad.

Maybe Dick is mad that Robin #2 is sporting an almost identical costume.

I imagine he's mad that he got fired when he turned legal and replaced with a 15 year old.

Dick and Jason meeting like

Sorry couldn’t help it. :P

Awesome picture. Jason's Robin looks great. Really makes you wonder how the costumes of Starfire, Beast Boy and Raven will look like in the end.

They should change Starfire , that will bring down that whole show . She should look more like an alien and less like a hooker .
