TITANS "Doom Patrol" Images Feature Our First Proper Look At DC Universe's Second Superhero Team
A new gallery of images from Titans have been released and they provide our best look yet at the Doom Patrol, a group of heroes who will receive their own series on the DC Universe streaming app next year!
It's still not clear when we'll get to see the Titans assemble as an actual team in the DC Universe series but Beast Boy and Raven will meet up with a bona fide group of superheroes in this Friday's episode, "Doom Patrol."
As you can see below, the youngsters cross paths with the likes of Robotman, Negative Man, and Elastiwoman for what looks set to be quite a dinner as seek they seek out their help only to discover that Dr. Niles Caulder could end up doing more hard than good when he attempts to free Raven of her mystical powers.
It should be a lot of fun seeing this lot in action, especially as they're getting their own DC Universe series next year. This episode will serve as a backdoor pilot of sorts and the hope no doubt is that fans will quickly fall in love with the group.

Now aware of Rachel’s power, Dick and Kory unite to find her. Escaped from the convent that sought to imprison her, Rachel puts her trust in Gar who reveals his own transformative powers. Seeking refuge, Gar brings Rachel home to his “family” – a group of misfit medical experiments we will come to know as The Doom Patrol (including Cliff Steele aka Robotman, Larry Trainor aka Negative Man and Rita Farr aka Elastiwoman) – in hopes of helping the girl. But what starts as a place of comfort for Rachel, soon turns dark under the scientific curiosity of The Doom Patrol’s leader Dr. Niles Caulder, whose experiment into Rachel’s powers threatens to set free a darkness, and reveal a new level of evil waiting to escape.
