Following the introduction of Donna Troy in the last episode of Titans, we'll be catching up with Hawk and Dove in this Friday's installment, which will serve as an origin story for the crime-fighting couple.

In addition to the flashbacks, it looks like the hour will focus on Dove's rehabilitation after her brush with death back in episode 2, and Hawk's attempt to come to terms with what happened.

Check out the promo for "Hank and Dawn" below along with a batch of promo stills, and let us know if you've been enjoying Titans so far in the comments.

"The origin story of Hank Hall and Dawn Granger’s relationship and the loss in each of their pasts that brings them together as vigilante Super Heroes Hawk and Dove."

Hank (Alan Ritchson) looks to be in distress. Is this after the attempt on Dawn's life, or back in his pre-Hawk days?

Hank attends some sort of group therapy session. Is this for the alcohol problem that was hinted at earlier in the season, or something else entirely?

So, it seems Hank embarked on an early career as a crime-fighting vigilante, complete with makeshift costume and a different Dove as his partner.

These guys seem to be enjoying playing superhero, but something tells us this doesn't end well for the dude in the Dove outfit.

Hank and Dawn (Minka Kelly) in happier times... or is this a shot from the present-set part of the episode? We're hoping for the latter.

Some more pics of Kelly as Dawn. You're welcome.

@RageDriver2401 - She is unbelievably hot, always has been, but the most noticeable thing about her, to me, is her voice. She sounds so kind, if I'm making any sense? Her voice is really soothing and unique. I'd cast her in an animated movie in a heartbeat. Same with Sophia Bush, who has one of the sexiest and most unique female voices in acting. Would make a perfect Zatanna.

@SpideyPuffsMJ - Personally I love it. It's not perfect, but far, far better than expected. It's my favorite non-Netflix superhero show with AoS.

I love how authentic the Hawk and Dove relationship is depicted. I'm glad they were given another episode to shine.

Haven't watched the last two episodes. Something about the show doesn't really click with me. Maybe I'll binge the rest of the season over the holidays. Or not.

I like how Hawk's original outfit is using football gear. This confirms Titans is a sequel to Blue Mountain State.
