TITANS Season Finale Trailer Teases Batman Vs. Robin As The Dark Knight Becomes A Full-Blown Villain

Titans looks set to deliver its biggest twist to date in next week's finale as a trailer for the episode reveals that the team will be squaring off with a Batman who has gone on a murderous rampage...

Well, this is going to get comic book fans talking! DC Entertainment has released a trailer for the season finale of Titans and it features a wheelchair-bound Jason Todd appealing to Dick Grayson for help in stopping Batman. The Dark Knight has become totally unhinged and killed almost off all of his greatest foes and we even get to see the bodies of The Joker and Two-Face here.

This version of Batman appears to have gone totally off the deep end as he even murders members of a S.W.A.T. team after they invade Wayne Manor and the Batcave (he's clearly been outed).

It is, of course, possible that Titans is planning an "It was all a dream..." scenario with whatever is happening here but it's a bold move to make Batman a villain and seeing as the show takes place in a universe of its own, there's really nothing stopping the DC Universe from heading in such a different direction (this could also explain why Dick Grayson becomes Nightwing).

Some people are theorizing that Trigon is messing with Robin's mind but no one would know that based on the trailer so the reactions of those who haven't watched the show are valid.

I've watched about half of the show and we've already had Robin go through a drug induced delusion about his time with Batman so maybe they're doing that again for the finale. Repetitive, but possible. He's also been hinting that Batman is out of control and violent so there's that too.

Either way, if that's true and none of that was real, this is a lazy fake-out "it was all a dream" finale that seems likely to leave people more disappointed than actually having Batman murder his whole Rogue's gallery.

@KoolerThanJesus - Have you seen this show's "reinvention" of Starfire? Did you see that ridiculous booty-call in episode 5? Really, wtf? You sure?

This is trash. Batman killing is the laziest most disrespectful story to be done.
