TITANS Season Preview Teases Red Hood/Scarecrow Team-Up, Blackfire's Arrival, & Wonder Girl's Resurrection

Following last week's explosive third season premiere of Titans, HBO Max has debuted an exciting new promo that previews some of what's to come this year as the team seeks revenge on one of their own.

Titans season three returned last week with a three-part opener that had quite an explosive ending, as the team tragically lost one of their own when Red Hood (Curran Walters) tricked Dove (Minka Kelly) into setting off the bomb in Hank's (Alan Ritchson) chest, instantly killing him mere seconds before Superboy (Joshua Orpin) arrived with a way to save him.

The hour closed with the entire team struggling to come to terms with their friend's death, and based on the new one-minute extended promo, it looks like they'll be out for blood when the series returns this Thursday. It seems they'll also have their work cut out for them when they realize Jason has been working with Scarecrow (Vincent Kartheiser).

The next episode, which is titled "Blackfire," will introduce Starfire's (Anna Diop) sister (Damaris Lewis), who will seemingly strike up some sort of connection with Conner, and it looks like like she may not be all that bad as we also get a shot of her suiting up alongside the Titans.

Plus, we also get a peek at what Raven (Teagan Croft) has been up to on Themyscira and a first look at the apparent resurrection of Wonder Girl (Conor Leslie).

When you come after family, they'll show no mercy.

Titans follows young heroes from across the DC Universe as they come of age and find where they belong. In season three, circumstances draw our heroes to Gotham City, where they will reunite with old friends and face new threats.

The way Wonder Girl was taken out at the end of season two was a joke.

I barely got through season 1. I've tried 3 times to watch season 2 and I fall off just before the finale. It's boring.

Is season 3 any better?

Theres a lot I like and a little I dislike about this show but nothing I hate about it “except for what happened to Hank💔” and so far season 3 has been a lot better quality wise while the first 2 seasons had a cheaper kinda independent fan film feel to me.

What was the point of killing Wonder Girl?

What did they just need the heavy hitters out of the way for when Jason shows up

Season 3 is off to a decent start and better than 1 and 2 (hopefully it doesnt turn to shit like season 2)

Although seriously, they were all Batman sucks in season 1

Season 2 they backtracked on that

Season 3 they are back on that

Seriously pick one and stick to it

Red hood is being handled better than expected but should not have to share the season with Blackfire

Seriously these people obviously want to do a Nightwing show, just end it and do a Nightwing show

I haven't really followed, but that Scarecrow mask looks pretty cool.
If they can do something new with him that would be refreshing

You can tell this show is hamstrung with the decision making by the suits at the studio. Having Batman kill Joker off screen right after seeing Joker's pants and legs are seen killing Jason as well as never showing the batsuit in the cave but showing the robin suit is all just super frustrating. If DC was committed to the multiverse, then they should full on bring everything they have. That being said, Season 3 has started off well. I just hope the narrative is straight forward instead of them doing pointless side episodes here and there.

@itzayaboy - It's because WB is full of executives with the most bizarre restrictions. They don't want the shows to tarnish Batman so they have banned his suits and his appearances in various projects but have no problem tarnishing him with reboot after reboot. And then make shows about his rogues galleries but not be allowed to include him.

I feel like they are doing a good job with red hood but it feels forced. It’s like they do everything well but rushed and it makes it a mess.

They rushed into Red Hood way too fast. Who knows how long the show goes on so thats probably why but like him being killed off and then you go a couple more seasons and then Red Hood shows up would have worked alot better. Then instead of finding out he's Jason right away you play it up through most of the season and then when he's unmasked and he's supposed to have been dead for years it has more meaning.

I mean he's literally dead, back and is Red Hood killing people and going after the team in one episode. Its so rush it doesnt make you care about any of it.

hardcore fan of the titans comics in the mid-late 80s . . . what a dream come true to see the titans in full costume on a double sided billboard off the 10 Freeway in West LA. Haven't watched this show, but will start with season 1 . . . seems to have survived to be worth the try.

The show has its issues but it has a few of the best comic adaptations for DC with Hawk, Robin and Deathstroke.
Wonder girl was decent.
RedHood didn’t look awesome in stills but I think he looks great in action. Have loved seeing the team have just “crime fighting” scenes. Bruce is a bit of a sissy but it works with the story arc.
And as someone who has taught a multitude of martial arts for 30+ years the fight choreography is fantastic.
