TITANS Set Photos Offer A First Look At Curran Walters As Jason Todd

A new batch of photos from the set of Titans have surfaced today and these offer a first look at Curran Walters as Jason Todd, a former Robin who later becomes the Red Hood. Will that happen here, though?

We don't know when exactly Titans will premiere on the DC Universe streaming service but production is still continuing and now Curran Walters' Jason Todd has been spotted on set. As you can see, he's only wearing his civvies but the fact the character is involved in the show has still generated a great deal of discussion. Is the show going to stray from the source material in some unexpected way?

After all, we know that Brenton Thwaites is playing Dick Grayson/Robin, so is Jason the new Robin working alongside Batman or just a supporting character of some sort? It is, of course, also possible that he could be the Red Hood by this point but that seems unlikely given the backstory which would be needed to explain that. Either way, his inclusion in the DC Universe series is very interesting.

For now, we're just going to have to wait and see but between Todd's appearance and rumours that Superboy will show up in the finale, there's a lot to be excited about with Titans, don't you think?

Is this going to be apart of the CW show universe?

And do we know what the tone will be like?

I would like to explore more DC but I just not into the style and tone of th CW shows (no hate it's just not for me).

@StormXmen123 - It'll probably be set in the CW multiverse because of Berlanti but it'll be its own universe.

@StormXmen123 -
It's in its own universe and probably a bit more mature than the CW shows.

@Nightwing1015 - hope is not in the cw multiverse

@zeon00 - I hope it is actually. It makes sense for all the live action shows to be in that DC multiverse. Because they don't appear to be in the mainstream DC multiverse.

1. You haven’t seen this

2. What should the tone of a teen titans show be in your opinion?

3. How do you know what the show will be like?

4. There are barely any toys related to the cw shows besides collectible stuff

I really hope they get the tone right and that it doesn’t end up being too light and cheesy.
It needs to be a little dark and gritty.

@L0RDbuckethead - As much as I like that costume, I hope he is Nightwing in the Series and this is just for flashbacks. They could give the costume to Jason.

@PINOYFAN - That would be a cool way to explain the Jason Todd Robin origin, but I'm pretty sure Brenton is Robin for the first couple of seasons.

@L0RDbuckethead - Only if he transition during a “The Judas Contract” adaptation.

From other photos leaked it seems like some of this show takes place in 2013 or 2014

There is a New Years Eve 2014 party poster on the Gotham Bank building

Should be interesting to see some time jumping here possibly

Isn't it a bit too much to have Jason, Doom Patrol, Superboy in a first season? Arsenal, Donna Troy and a lot of others are rumored too right?

Where do people find the time to watch all these tv shows.

@billnye69 - dvr, watch when you can. I understand if you have a needy baby that may be impossible. I'm 31... my fiance and I have no kjds. We work 40 hr a week jobs. We catch maybe a show a night. Now that I'm going back for my MBA, that might decrease.
