HBO's new vision of Michael Crichton’s film comes from J.J. Abrams‘ Bad Robot, Person Of Interest creator Jonathan Nolan, producer Jerry Weintraub and Warner Bros TV. Nolan also directed the pilot for the series, which is described as a "dark odyssey about the dawn of artificial consciousness and the future of sin."

Westworld stars stars James Marsden, Anthony Hopkins, Ed Harris, Evan Rachel Wood, Jeffrey Wright, Rodrigo Santoro, Shannon Woodward, James Marsden, Kyle Bornheime and Thandie Newton.


 
Two guests at a high-tech amusement park go on a wild west adventure. The park is peopled by robots and is designed to provide a 100% life like experience simulating Roman times, cowboy times, and medieval times. When the park's central computer breaks down, the robots start to run amok and our two guests find themselves stalked by a robot gunslinger.

Westworld premieres this October on HBO.

Actually there is a National USA soccer team with a lot of fans following them in each game. So I think thousands of american fans hardly classify as "nobody"

Series looks interesting...better than those throne games that everyone go on about. I flipped through channels and saw a shirtless male! That show is NOT FAMILY FRIENDLY!

Looks interesting with a interesting cast......!!!

Been looking forward to this since it was announced, but I have never seen the original.
Let's hope it doesn't get cancelled like other quality show such as Almost Human and Limitless.

Also happy to see that it stars Thandie Newton

Shame that there are so many average shows that keep getting renewed but quality shows keep getting cancelled, also I genuinely found it funny and interesting.

Nothing. It's just that usually, when someone tells me a movie is a classic, it's almost certain that I won't like it. Blade Runner, The Godfather, Brazil, and Dark City are just a few examples.
