WESTWORLD Season 2 Trailer Leads To Viral Website "Delos Destinations" That Teases Five Other Theme Parks

The Westworld season 2 trailer only dropped yesterday and already eagle-eyed fans have discovered a hidden clue. It comes in the form of a binary code that leads to the viral website "Delos Destinations," a dystopian vacation site that suggests we may be visiting other theme parks when the show returns for its second season.

In addition to the already seen western-themed park, Westworld, it looks like Delos Incorporated, the manufacturer responsible for these elaborate robot-laden theme parks, has built at least five others (six different Worlds in total). The season 1 finale of Westworld teased a Samurai World ("S World"), which co-creator Jonathan Nolan hinted would play a bigger role in the show's second season. You'll also recall Maeve received a note in the finale revealing that her daughter is in "park 1," suggesting multiple others existed.

Unfortunately, the website doesn't offer much information about the other five parks. Westworld is the only park with a clear image; the other is a glitchy image of what appears to be a luscious, green world (seen above) - possibly the aforementioned Samurai World.

The other four parks are for "authorized personnel only," with "reservations closed to the public." What those other worlds could be remain a mystery for now, but in Michael Crichton's original 1973 movie, some visitors were allowed to roam through Roman World and Medieval World. Show creators Jonathan Nolan and Lisa Joy did tease the inclusion of those Worlds as well during a Vanity Fair summit last year. Richard T. Heffron's 1976 sequel, meanwhile, introduced us to Future World, leaving just one park left out of the six as a potential total mystery.

In any case, this viral website provides us with a pretty good indication of where the show is heading and is filled with clues for fans to pore over, including information about Delos founder James Delos, who you can read more about here.

The one-hour drama series Westworld is a dark odyssey about the dawn of artificial consciousness and the evolution of sin. Set at the intersection of the near future and the reimagined past, it explores a world in which every human appetite, no matter how noble or depraved, can be indulged.

Westworld season 2 returns April 22 on HBO.

@IronGenesis - Wow, I actually came up with that a while back. It'd be awesome if they even bring back some of the original actors if it ever happens.
