WESTWORLD Star Evan Rachel Wood Says Season 2's Easter Eggs Are A Lot Harder To Find

The first season of Westworld featured a ton of hints that helped clever fans piece together some of the show's biggest twists before they were revealed, but the clues might be harder to find in season 2.

Evan Rachel Wood's character Dolores was a big reason why the first season of Westworld was such a success, and it looks like she'll have an even bigger role in season 2.

In an interview with The Hollywood Reporter, Wood talked about how she embraced the newly found complexities of her character this season. Watch the video below:

Wood also touched on the twists that the show became famous for last season, and while she was careful not to reveal anything, she did say the clues are bit more buried than they were two years ago. She says:

"We don't play down to the audience. What's fun about this show is that you can watch it, you don't have to figure things out, it still will unfold and you'll get the answers and it's amazing to watch. But if you do want to take it that step further, we've littered the show with clues and easter eggs and things to sort of guide you in the right direction. But they're definitely harder to find this season, I think."

While online theorists were able to piece together elements of the Man in Black and Bernard's backstory last season, it will be interesting to see what theories surface in season 2. On the subject of whether or not Dolores will interact with some of the characters she spent time with last season, Wood says:

"I don't think we're gonna disappoint. I think people will be running back into each other but not in the ways that people expect. That's why the show is so great, everyone has very different objectives."

From the sound of it, the show is taking even more twists and turns this season, and that Reddit theorists might have their work cut out for them.

That won't stop em. I fully expect season 2 to be figured out 3/4 the way through the season.
