Though this week's episode of Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. promises to be an eventful one, the May 2 installment, "Farewell, Cruel World!", looks like it's set to up the ante even more.

The time has come for Daisy and Simmons to make their move and finally attempt to rescue their teammates from The Framework, but with Madame Hydra's forces closing in and Fitz still in his evil "Doctor" persona, that's going to be a lot easier said than done.

ABC has now released the official synopsis for the 20th season 4 episode, which you can checkout below along with a couple of promo images.

I've been enjoying this arc a lot. Why are they taking a break? Wasn't those two months enough.

Is it common in America to have lots of random breaks in tv shows?
I can understand winter breaks (as tv studios would want to put on christmas content).

But these random breaks happen way to often.

Star Wars Rebels season 3 was awaful for the random breaks this year.

@StormXmen123 It has been common in the past 20-25 years to have lots of random breaks in TV shows. With 36 weeks to show 22 episodes there simply have to be breaks even taking into account the 3 weeks taken off during X-mas.

@THATguy01 It was off for 5 weeks not 2 months.

I wish AoS would take more chances with the format. Kind of like Legion.

I would love an entire episode that was just a few characters talking, as long as it had the emotional weight and philosophical undertones of something like Daredevil and Punisher talking on a rooftop (which is still my favorite episode of CBTV ever).
