With the season five premiere only around ten days away, ABC has released the first full-length trailer for Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. and it looks pretty intense as Agent Coulson (Clark Gregg) and his loveable band of misfits get adjusted to their new environment in deep space.

The trailer wastes no time reintroducing us to several of the key team members and the new threats they face, but there is one notable omission that should have you pretty concerned as we approach December 1st.

Check out the trailer below:

In case you didn't pick up on it, when season five picks up in a few weeks, Fitz is no longer in the building. So where is he? Well, that's yet-to-be-seen, but based on the ominous teases from Entertainment Weekly, it doesn't sound like he's anywhere pleasant.

COULSON AND THE TEAM ARE LOST IN SPACE, ON THE TWO-HOUR SEASON PREMIERE OF ABC'S 'MARVEL'S AGENTS OF S.H.I.E.L.D.'

"Orientation (Part One)"/"Orientation (Part Two)" - Coulson and the team find themselves stranded on a mysterious ship in outer space, and that's just the beginning of the nightmare to come, when "Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D." returns for its highly anticipated fifth season with a special two-hour premiere, FRIDAY, DEC. 1 (8:00-10:01 p.m. EST), on The ABC Television Network, streaming and on demand.

In light of the Sokovia Accords, and with Hydra obliterated, S.H.I.E.L.D. has been legitimatized again and no longer needs to operate in the shadows. Since the world presumes that Coulson is dead, the organization needed a new Director (Jason O’Mara) to be the face of the organization. Coulson finds himself back in the role as an agent and teamed with Mack (Henry Simmons), and together they are tasked with tracking down and confirming the presence of Enhanced people, aka Inhumans. They have been trying to track down and capture Daisy (Chloe Bennet), aka Quake, who has gone rogue in an attempt to atone for sins from the past. But with the world believing that Daisy is a dangerous outlaw who has taken down banks and bridges, the new Director has no qualms about taking her down for good. Agent May (Ming-Na Wen) is tasked with training specialist strike teams, and Fitz (Iain De Caestecker) and Simmons (Elizabeth Henstridge) have taken a big step forward in their relationship. But with Simmons’ new promotion as Special Advisor to the Director in Science and Technology, Fitz, as well as her former team members, finds it hard to confide in or trust her since she’s now the Director’s confidant.

Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. features:
Clark Gregg as Phil Coulson
Ming-Na Wen as Melinda May
Chloe Bennet as Daisy Johnson/Quake
Iain De Caestecker as Leo Fitz
Elizabeth Henstridge as Jemma Simmons
Henry Simmons as Alphonso "Mack" MacKenzie
John Hannah as Holden Radcliffe
Gabriel Luna as Robbie Reyes/Ghost Rider

It's amazing that this went from one of the worst shows ever on television to one of best at least in my opinion comic shows on television. Glad I stuck with it through the bad times too

@blitzburgh - Even the episodes from the first season that weren't as good, still developed the relationship with Ward. So it payed off big time at the end of the season.

It’s been a long wait between seasons! I’m digging the spaceship stuff from the trailer, and looking forward to finding out what is going one, and where the rest of the cast ended up.

Did they not start off season 4 on Friday nights, though? because I could've sworn, talking to people back last year in the time we were coming up on the newest season happening, like being irked at ABC because it's like they were *trying* to make the show fail and insure it be the last season, because they were giving it the infamous 'Friday Night Death Slot".
