BTW, I loved it! I guess some people wanted a full on superhero movie in a 45 minute pilot episode.

@MarvelPsycho

Just guessing, but......probably some Milwaukee's Best, King Cobra, Colt 45, Pabst Blue Ribbon, Steel Reserve, and maybe some Ol' English.

You know, the classy stuff

@Gusto, your beer can is also a TV remote.

...more I think of it, AoS was really disappointing. I felt like I was watching an episode of Rip Tide, circa 1984 -- lame acting by pretty and lame actors, lame plot, lame lame lame. And I'm a huge Marvel fan. Awful. I hope it gets better, but I have a feeling Jed and Marisa are NOT the ones to do it.

@80'sFace

Lame acting? For real man? Did you see the last 10 minutes at all? Opinions are opinions, but 12 million people watching 1 episode is still amazing!

Agreed. I'm. A huge Marvel fan as well but this pilot was lame. The tone was just way too bright and silly. The way the guy obtained his powers was goofy (blender). And a lot of lame jokes (Gramsie) that didn't help assure me about this show. A SHIELD show in the vein of 24 or Homeland should have been the way to go, not this fluff.

Plus with the news that CA:TWS is gonna be a dark political thriller, and with Thor:TDW looking much more serious than the first Thor, why does this show have to be so silly?

Yeah, I'm watching 49ers vs Rams.

@ArmoredAsgardian

There is going to be plenty of humor in CA:TWS and Thor:TDW. I don't know why you think the tone is going to switch so dramatically. Yes, there will be more serious moments. But its still going to have the "lighter" dialogue points that all Marvel Studio's movies have had. There has even been humor in the Thor:TDW trailers...soooo...

Sorry you expected it to be all grim and take itself extremely serious :(

@Hobo
Dude I don't mean NO humor at all, just not lame ass non funny jokes. I'm not hung up on it being "grim" but taking itself a bit more seriously wouldn't hurt. From interviews I've seen with the Russo brothers, they don't seem all that focused on humor for CA:TWS.

@Armored

Well, if you just didn't find some jokes funny, sorry that I misunderstood. And with CA:TWS, the Russo brothers emphasize the political thriller/drama moments but we all know they are going to lift the mood with witty dialogue.

No problem man. And I am sure as well there will be witty dialogue in TWS, which is no problem with me. At least you're one of the normal people on this site, and didn't resort to calling me a "DC fanboy" for not liking the SHIELD pilot.
