EDITORIAL: Agent Coulson is The Next Captain America? Marvel Theory

Agent Coulson has been through some times from his rival to his rebirth. For that many questions still have yet to be answered, but I believe there are vital clues on what the answers may be.

Hello everyone and on today's topic is Agent Coulson. Now I will like to let everyone know I am an active watcher of Agents of Shield which prominently stars the titular character and I am aware of the recent events that has happened. So this editorial is going to be a slight spoiler for people that don't follow Agents of Shield. Anyways with that being said, on forth to the next chapter.

It was recently revealed a process of Agent Coulson's revival involved a certain machine along with a team of skilled doctors`. But one thing is for sure I took notice of the machine closer and it looked similar to the type of technology Hydra would make. With that said we didn't see his full revival process as of yet, but there is a prominent item involved I believe which would have significantly helped Coulson's recovery. That is the Super Soldier Serum. It is known in the Marvel Film Universe the Super Soldier Serum doesn't exactly have a 1 dimensional effect as it was also taken by The Red Skull himself not only Steve Rogers. As it made the Red Skull's face disfigured horribly it made Steve Rogers a Superman type figure. The serum even created The Hulk's villain The Abomination in the film The Incredible Hulk. Proving the effects of the serum to be never ending. That is the theory I had in mind if Coulson had a sample of the serum injected in himself but the sample has yet to be fully activated.

It would explain many things including the recovery of his vitals. It would also not be far fetched for SHIELD themselves to do this as an experiment as they are capable of conducting secret projects. Also to note, Agent Coulson is a major fan of Captain America. It was displayed in The Avengers how much he adored him the character and what Captain America truly represents. Now is there is a problem fans may be conflicted about involving The Winter Soldier as they believe Bucky should be the next Captain America. Well the problem there is that most Marvel villains don't last long with the exception of Loki who is slowly fading. So I wouldn't consider The Winter Soldier, the character of Bucky to last. Agent Coulson would be a far more suited choice to continue the character which is why SHIELD had done what they have done to him in theory. If Coulson was to simply know now he would be the next Captain America do imagine how much he would freak out? It would be beyond his current burden of responsibility. As Nick Fury knows when the time would be right to tell him.

Coulson is everything SHIELD would want to carry out such a major project. He isn't just some simple agent but the best one they have. There was a rumor Coulson was going to the vision but that turned out false didn't it? As I have said this is only a true theory which could possibility be true or not but I am hoping this is what really is. As Coulson would be an excellent Captain America and a true hero.

Captain America's super soldier serum (in the MCU) must be injected into the bloodstream and exposed to a certain type of radiation to manifest (glowing super soldier chamber). The Abomination was a sample recreation of the Super Soldier serum which was injected into Emil Blonsky's bloodstream and bone marrow, making him stronger and giving him regeneration but also making him more aggressive and causing his bones to protrude slightly. Then when he is exposed to Gamma Radiation he manifests as the Abomination.

It took me way too long to realize it was another glimpse into Jacky's mind.
Also, maybe there are grammatical errors, or maybe Coulson indeed has a rival who went through some machine-involved process. Either way, great reading material before going to bed drunk.
Clark Gregg better get on that Gal Gadot bodybuilding program.

Right? Who has a name like Nick Fury? It might be a Shield title or codename and Coulson is the perfect candidate...

I had the audacity to read this article without reading who wrote it. My fault, and one I will not repeat.

I'm for the breed theory:
Fury had replaced some vital parts of Phil with Chitauri organs. The transfusions of blue blood, chitauri blood as we seen th the avengers, helped to turn on again the heart and the others part. This match with the statements of Akela Amador in Eye-spy "he is different", the ones in FZZT when Coulson confides to Melinda that he can't sleep comfortable for the massive amount of energy and tension (Chitauri are eletric based life forms, their body is made to endure electro-static energy just like androids of flash, energy that a human brain cannot handle like we seen in FZZT) and the vision of the space trip (are that gentic memories of a Chitauri spacer soldier?). Modify the brain to handle the new alien organs without rejections.

The biggest question: Why Fury should do that?
SHIELD can't lose the Avengers. Cannot let die so ething this important. What about a "Lazarus project" to force them to revive and fight, again and again?
Coulson it's only been the soubject zero, a rag lab fora a grater technology and all this team it's only a test table.

...Fury is an unscrupulous bastard.

And this is the force of the episode. Everybody, I mean the interested ones, now watch Coulson with different eyes, is so deeper then before and everybody is waiting to see evolve the character, he will take a stand with Fury and Hill? He will, maybe, leave the SHIELD? Will fight for change his destiny and take back his past? This keep me in the show, Coulson. I don't give a damn abour skye's parents or the past of Melinda may, but Coulson... He have the much interesting storyline. Gregg is been terrific in that episode, I've felt pain, anger and sorrow for Coulson in episode 11, that part it's been a hell of a ride.

Jacky, this is a serious comment about your articles. Regardless whether or not your theories make sense, they contribute to this site and generate discussion. That being said, they are riddled with spelling and grammatical errors. If you don't like all the negative comments on your articles then you need to start presenting them in a better manor. After you've flown through your first draft don't just immediately slap a title on it and post. EDIT. Then re-edit. Then edit it again. Your sentence structure lacks a logical and understandable pattern, you have run-on sentences and typos everywhere. Do us all and yourself a favor and read some more books, good books, and learn how to write better from them. Because obviously your school system has failed you.

I was gonna write something simple like "this was a giant waste of my time" but instead Jacky, PLEASE, if you're gonna write something then make it legible. Take pride in your work and maybe it will reflect in how it's received by others.

@badmuffin - I'm thinking that Coulson was never "normal" in the first place. Like you sad, why would fury not let HIM die... Also, the doctor(from firefly, awesome!) said that Coulson was "dead" for days before Fury started revivng him... And then, there's the conversation that Maria Hill had with that same doctor in episode 1...
