UH OH! Do I see a picture of a funnel, hmmmm are they going to save the day with it. Hey reminds me of McGyver......

So far episode one a unemployed, unskilled, black man turns criminal, episode two a Latina turned bad and hungry for power (I know that first hand I am married to a Mexican). Wow cannot wait for episode three.

I have had to watch these in two parts both times with DVR.
I fall asleep about halfway through and watch the second half the next day. I like the show but its not thrilling me at all.

@ gailkinger

Same feeling not thrilling me at all, I will continue to watch it through the whole season to see how it pans out. Heck I was not thrilled either by Arrow until episode five or six.

Side note my kids cannot sit through this show, they keep asking are they going to show Thor, IM, Hulk etc.... I think that is what people are expecting from this show.

Thank god I am not the only one laughing at the inflatable raft scene......now that I see a funnel in that pic I can only imagine how they will use that to save the day.

I wish this show had a great start like Arrow did. So far it's kinda boring :3

Naw she is not Spider Woman, she is double agent and ends up taking the side of Shield.

For those who expected a super high quality show expected too much. Arrow is shit, and while this isn't perfect, it serves more of a purpose than Arrow. Arrow won't even matter a few years from now while SHIELD at least connected to the cinematic universe.

Literally painful to watch. There is nothing redeeming about this show so far. Terrible acting on top of idiotic cliches. How does this show get on tv while there are shows like Breaking Bad, The Walking Dead, Game if Thrones, and Boardwalk Empire? The bar was raised and Disney/Marvel is falling in their faces.

What purpose does the show have? I would love to hear your thoughts on that.

So many DC fanboys having a convention and spouting the same old "cheesy" talking points. Anyone up for the Mandarin twist.

@JoeMomma29

What purpose does a show about SHIELD have? It's main purpose is to show what they're doing while they're not saving world on a grand scale like in the Avengers. Smaller missions, adventures, and all that jazz.

Don't argue TayDee. He is just here to rile. He's not going to accept any response regardless of what you say.

I agree with you on that, but as a comic book fan I hope they actually deliver on some actual villains and heroes from the comic books, none of this 3 to 5 minute cameos to draw in fans and string them along.

At least in Arrow (and that is fine if you think it is garbage) we are getting those lesser known characters on the small screen.

LOL, why do not go to the DC article regarding Arrow and see how I am making fun of the Bronze Tiger costume etc.... It does not matter that AOS is from Marvel or DC I will call out what I think is cheesy or flat out stupid.
JoeMomma29
JoeMomma29 - 10/3/2013, 9:46 AM
@ BatmanRobin

You make a good point there is no mystery to each show, granted there has only been two episodes so I am hoping it will improve. AOS is coming off as a water down X Files meets Fringe. I suspect they will continue to drop references and names from the Avengers and have small cameo appearance to keep fans around.

Arrow on the other hand did a great job on drawing me back every week, the whole Dark Archer was great. Hopefully this season they will pull off the Flash or it could be a epic failure.

@BatmanRobinNightwing

Connecting to the DC movie universe? Call me when they set this said universe up. It's not a universe if they only have a movie about one character.

JoeMomma29
JoeMomma29 - 10/3/2013, 9:48 AM
@ TayDee

Your are correct there is no DC Universe, I will be shocked if DC/WB actually does one. Though if they were smart they will start connecting Arrow to MOS in some way or another. Though I keep reminding myself it is Warner Bros who control the shots, so I will not hold my breath.

TayDee - 10/3/2013, 9:49 AM
Glad you avoided my statement. Fake fights on TV? Never heard that before.
TayDee
TayDee - 10/3/2013, 9:52 AM
@JoeMomma29

DC is turning everything they're doing into a giant cluster[frick]. They want to make all these TV shows, which eventually those characters will end up in movies that have no relation to the shows.
TayDee
TayDee - 10/3/2013, 9:55 AM
I don't care about anything like that on a TV show. It's not like this is high budget, so it doesn't matter to me.
