"Clark Gregg reprises his role of Agent Phil Coulson from Marvel’s feature films, as he assembles a small, highly select group of Agents from the worldwide law-enforcement organization known as S.H.I.E.L.D. Together they investigate the new, the strange, and the unknown across the globe, protecting the ordinary from the extraordinary. Coulson's team consists of Agent Grant Ward (Brett Dalton), highly trained in combat and espionage; Agent Melinda May (Ming-Na Wen), expert pilot and martial artist; Agent Leo Fitz (Iain De Caestecker), brilliant engineer; and Agent Jemma Simmons (Elizabeth Henstridge), genius bio-chemist. Joining them on their journey into mystery is new recruit and computer hacker, Skye (Chloe Bennet).

Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. premieres Tuesday, September 24 at 8PM on ABC.

Senseless to compare the 2 shows...so different.
Only related by having comic book origins.

RDJ should at least have a cameo in there or something, given the fact that we ain't gonna see him till Avengers 2, or an after credits scene.. they should have characters like Justin Hammer, General "Thunder Bolt" Ross, James Rhodes, Betty Ross, and establish well known B-List heroes on the show.

Not much longer... It used to be that the fall TV shows premiered right around when school started, right around Labor Day. Now, most series dont start until mid October!

@Ror

not really. Arrow is a great show. Especially for a CB based tv show.

It'll be hard to pass up. I hope it's close.

I don't watch tv, it's all online for me. Less commercials that way, and it works around my random schedule. That said, I'll try to catch this one later this September.

It looks like Coulson will be a softer 616 Nick Fury, which is cool. I really just hope that Fitz and Simmons don't annoy the sh*t out of me.

shield is a spin off from a comic based ensemble movie which spun-off from multiple individual movies. based on normal dudes from that universe
