'Phil Coulson' Shows His Loyalty To #TeamCap In This New AGENTS OF S.H.I.E.L.D. Sneak Peek

The Captain America: Civil War references are strong with this new clip from next week's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D., as General Talbot tries to convince Coulson to get in line with the Sokovia Accords...

Next week's installment of Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. takes place after the events of Captain America: Civil War, so obviously a tie-in or two was inevitable.

In this second clip from "Emancipation", Talbot has a sit down with Coulson in an effort to convince him to register his Inhuman recruits in accordance with the Sokovia Accords. Of course, it's no surprise that the Director is 100% #TeamCap and tells him where to go.

“Emancipation” – With only two episodes left before S.H.I.E.L.D. loses one of their own, Daisy’s prophecy ticks closer towards a major loss, as the aftermath of the events of “Marvel’s Captain America: Civil War” force S.H.I.E.L.D. to register the Inhumans, on “Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.,” TUESDAY, MAY 10 (9:00-10:00 p.m. EDT), on the ABC Television Network.

Guest starring are Axle Whitehead as James, John Hannah as Holden Radcliffe, Natalie Cordova-Buckley as Elena “Yo-Yo” Rodriguez, Adrian Pasdar as Brigadier General Glenn Talbot, Trevor Torseth as Pete Boggs, Jean Paul San Pedro as Jackson, Courtney Friel as newscaster and Jason Sweat as recruit #1.

@Ineedrevelation - Nope. I went and shot that clip with a few friends in costume. Not a bad effort if I do say so myself.

@Ineedrevelation - at this point there's no reason to talk bad about this show. it's one thing to say you don't like it, or you prefer Arrow, Flash or something else but to act like AoS hasn't been really good for the past two seasons is just silly. They have introduced a huge segment of Marvel canon, layered character development and storytelling and have done a great job of keeping the plot fresh within the confines of a much larger universe. I mean AoS functionally tells good stories while having to make sure they don't cross into Avengers territory (including the individual Avenger stories and supporting characters) as well as Daredevil, JJ, soon to be Power Man, Iron Fist, soon to be Punisher, Spidey, and Dr. Strange. they have to be mindful of ALL that is going on with all of those characters yet they have still managed to develop a powered team that is facing powered villains, tell a really good story, maintain fairly high stakes, keep the surprise reveals strong, have excellent character development... seriously ALL of these characters have advanced and developed from the 1st episode, like every good story should. if you don't like this show is would honestly say it's because you don't want to like it and would rather bash it than find out that you like what's going on because honestly this show is really good. it's to bad you won't give it a chance.

But Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D still suck it is easily the worst part of the MCU.

@MrFridayNights - Yeah, but it is still easily better than the best of the unofficial DCEU...

Daredevil makes Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D look like a crappy CSI show.

Let me guess, The episode is just gonna reference the movie without contributing to it and just reacting to it and just have nothing to do with anything.

@Ironbot - Well, yeah, the production schedules between TV and films are drastically different. And they are actually two separate companies essentially, Marvel Studios and Marvel TV. This is just the way it's going to be.

Did anyone get Wade/Hive's dig at Ironman and Cap last episode? Cracked me up, it's almost as if writers were saying 'yeah yeah so CW is happening but they're not helping us so...'. In previous years SiS would've revolved their whole storylines to upcoming movies!

That elevator shot has been used in most of the movies since Avengers and the TV shows several times.
