Tonight's episode of Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. will reveal how Robbie Reyes became the vengeful Ghost Rider, and while yesterday's sneak peek showed us that Robbie's brother Gabe will finally learn his secret, another new clip has been released by ABC that flashes back to the fateful night of Robbie's "deal with the devil".

Speaking about the episode with Entertainment Weekly, actor Gabriel Luna revealed that the story will draw heavily from the comics, mixed with a few twists and turns. "I can definitely say that there’s some wonderful elements of Felipe Smith’s original origin story mixed in with this new angle that we’re approaching from, but that new angle still draws from the source material," Luna said. "It still draws from this really, really great moment in the latter half of that first run of the All-New Ghost Rider that I won’t say too much about. The way that we fuse these two elements of the existing story together and to this moment, this origin story moment, is pretty phenomenal."

The story has already diverged from the source material in regards to Robbie's Uncle Eli; how do you think this version of the story will play out? Let us know in the comments.
