On the heels of the earlier New Warriors character details, Freeform has now debuted the first trailer for its other upcoming Marvel TV adaptation, Cloak and Dagger.
The teaser introduces us to star-crossed lovers Tandy (Olivia Holt) and Tyrone (Aubrey Joseph), as we witness the events that lead to them becoming the warriors of darkness and light known as Cloak and Dagger.
We only get very brief teases of the pair in superhero mode right at the end, but this actually looks like it might be pretty good.

“Marvel’s Cloak and Dagger” is an adaptation of the beloved Marvel characters whose story is aimed squarely at young adults. This live-action interracial romance follows Tandy Bowen and Tyrone Johnson, two teenagers from very different backgrounds, who find themselves burdened and awakened to newly acquired superpowers while falling in love. Tandy can emit light daggers and Tyrone has the ability to engulf others in darkness.
