After doing everything in their power to stop Andre Deschaine, a.k.a. D'Spayre, from ascending to godhood, Tandy and Tyrone were able to combine their powers to deliver what could have been a deadly blow against the villain. However, in the final moments of the episode, we quickly learned they were too late, as several of Deschaine's victims suddenly disappeared.

Now, with D'Spayre embracing his newfound godhood, the divine pairing will desperately try to rescue the innocent victims and prevent everyone else in New Orleans from experiencing the same fate.

Of course, the Marvel Comics duo won't have to endure this hardship on their own, as the promo for next week's episode of Cloak & Dagger sees Mayhem and Evita lend some much-needed assistance while Ty and Tandy enter a mystical world of despair.

Check out the exciting new promo, which also features the return of Tyrone's comic-accurate cloak, below:

@GreypilgrimXXX - Same. I felt like kicking to myself so hard for not starting this earlier when it came out last year because there story and characters are grounded in a relatable way that also stays true to the essence of the comics and have been modernized in a sensible way. It is a very compelling superhero coming-of-age story.

My Season 2 binge officially starts tomorrow in preparation for next week's finale. 👍

loved seeing tyrone scare the piss out the gangsters. also loved the talk between ty and solomon. cool to see people outside of new york talking about the hero of harlem. i also thought it was cool that in the emptiness of lia, the only sound was an empty turntable because there were no records left

Solid, strong episode. Didn't feel quite as good as the previous couple episodes. But fairly well done. Liked getting the background to Andre and Lia, do very much like Andre's character and portrayal.

The Luke Cage reference was awesome, and in a way Tyrone is the Luke Cage of New Orleans. Very meta. Who knows, maybe one day... fingers crossed. Enjoyed Tyrone's scenes and storyline this episode, especially him taking on the gangsters.

Tandy... she seems to fluctuate with every other episode. Not really sure if is solely the writing for her, the actress playing her or a combination of both but she frequently comes off as a bit annoying and jarring, and I frequently find her storylines weaker than those for Tyrone. Found her disagreement with Mayhem kind of stupid, cause Mayhem was correct.

Speaking of, hope we see more Mayhem in the finale than what we've been getting these last several episodes.
