We've known for a while now that Bumblebee star Hailee Steinfeld is Marvel Studios' top pick to take on the role of Kate Bishop in Disney+'s Hawkeye. However, her commitments to Apple TV+ series Dickinson means we've never been entirely sure whether the actress will be able to join the Marvel Cinematic Universe and take over the mantle of Hawkeye from Jeremy Renner's Clint Barton.
Now, though, Steinfeld has shared a cryptic Instagram post which has fans convinced that she's definitely going to appear in Hawkeye. As you can see below, the actress has shared a picture of a woman - who bears a striking resemblance to Kate Bishop - along with, "see u in ✨11✨ days, 24. 🏹."
It's hard to ignore that last emoji, right?
The actress turns 24 in 11 days, so on the surface, this might simply be a reference to her upcoming birthday. However, it definitely feels like there are some big Hawkeye hints here, so perhaps Steinfeld is set to start shooting the Disney+ series the same day she celebrates her birthday?
We'll have to wait and see, but with cameras expected to begin rolling in New York City in a matter of days, chances are it won't be too much longer until we learn who will be the MCU's Kate Bishop!
