In the series finale of Arrow, Diggle came across something that looked an awful lot like a Green Lantern ring. Theories have persisted for years that he's actually John Stewart, but the actor is now set to return to The CWVerse...both in front of the camera and behind it.

Ramsey has signed up to direct five episodes of The CW's DC TV shows, including Superman & Lois, Supergirl, The Flash, Batwoman, and Legends of Tomorrow. He's also set to guest star in them, taking on the role of Arrow fan-favourite, John Diggle/Spartan...and a mystery character!

9. Marvel Studios And Disney+ Pay Homage To Chadwick Boseman

Earlier this week was what would have been the late Chadwick Boseman's 44th birthday. Former Disney CEO Bob Iger took to Twitter to promise that the studio would find a way to pay homage to the Black Panther star, and they definitely delivered what proved to a wonderful tribute to Boseman.

Now, when you watch Black Panther, there's a new intro featuring footage of the actor from his Marvel Cinematic Universe appearances in movies Avengers: Endgame and Captain America: Civil War.

Watch the new intro here.

8. Lynda Carter May Return As Wonder Woman In The Flash

This week, Batman & Robin star George Clooney debunked rumors that he'll be donning his cape and cowl alongside Michael Keaton and Ben Affleck in The Flash. That wasn't a huge surprise, but those comments were followed by a rumour that Lynder Carter is set to return as Wonder Woman.

The actress played the iconic DC Comics superhero in the 1970s live-action television series, and adding further fuel to the fire was the fact AT&T (the parent company of Warner Bros.) responded to a Tweet mentioning the rumour. Now, it's hard to escape the feeling this might actually pan out.

Find out more about this particular rumour by clicking here.

7. Peter Dinklage To Star In Toxic Avenger Reboot

It's been a while since we've heard anything concrete about that Toxic Avenger reboot, but it was revealed this week that a major casting addition has been made in the form of Peter Dinklage.

The Game of Thrones and Avengers: Infinity War star will be taking on the title role. The logline reveals that, "a struggling everyman is pushed into a vat of toxic waste and is transformed into a mutant freak who must go from shunned outcast to underdog hero as he races to save his son, his friends, and his community from the forces of corruption and greed."

We have more details on the project here

6. The Umbrella Academy's Star Elliot Page Comes Out As Trans

Elliot Page, formerly known as Ellen Page, took to Twitter this week to confirm that he is transgender. The actor has changed his name to Elliot and made it clear that his pronouns are he/they.

The actor's emotional statement quickly went viral, but may fans were left wondering what this might mean for The Umbrella Academy. In the Netflix series, Page plays a female character, and with season three on the horizon, there was speculation he would ultimately be recast.

Well, we later received an update on that which you can find right here

5. Monica Rambeau's Superhero Costume Revealed

It's thought that Teyonah Parris' Monica Rambeau will be an Agent of S.W.O.R.D. in WandaVision, but most comic book fans are hoping for a superhero transformation into her Spectrum alter-ego.

In some new merchandise, we got what appears to be our first look at the superhero suit the character will be wearing. It's hard to say whether it's Monica's "final" costume, but this seems to be more than just a S.W.O.R.D. uniform, and a look that bears more than a passing resemblance to what her comic book counterpart wears in her adventures with the Avengers.

Take a look at that by clicking here.

With shooting on the Hawkeye TV show taking place in New York as we write this, it's no great surprise that we're finally learning more about what's to come in this team-up for Clint Barton and Kate Bishop. This week, however, some huge casting news broke for the Disney+ series.

Eleanor Bishop, Echo, Swordsman, William Lopez, and Clown have all been cast, and Marvel Studios has attracted some serious talent to the show. Florence Pugh, meanwhile, is returning as Yelena Belova (cementing her position as the new Black Widow in the Marvel Cinematic Universe).

We're still reeling from the news that all of Warner Bros.' 2021 movies will be released on HBO Max at the same time as theaters, as is the entire film industry. This is a decision which looks set to have major consequences over the next year, but what does it mean for us?

Well, if you're an HBO Max subscriber, you'll be able to check out the likes of The Suicide Squad, Dune, Godzilla vs. Kong, and The Matrix 4 from the comfort - and safety - of your own home next year.

They've also confirmed that Clint will be wearing a hearing aid in the show, while a second batch of photos showed the trio taking a walk together in a local Brooklyn park.

We've also had a first look at Echo, but it's definitely Lucky who we've all fallen in love with

OT (like every week on this article really):

I watched Sound of Metal yesterday and gotta say it really made me think. Not just because I didn't always directly knew where the plot was going, but also about going and being deaf. Riz Ahmed was amazing as the stubborn musician, and now I kinda wanna watch Mogul Mowghli too.

I also finally finished Hunters. The characters were fun, but sometimes that extravagancy came in the way of the seriousness. The twist didn't really fit either, it was just one long exposition scene that came kinda outta nowhere. Maybe I'm just bothered because the character and I share the same name though.

No matter how excited one may be about Hawkeye, the WB news was definitely the #1 most impactful story.

I've been starved from MCU news and all but it's the WB bomb that's #1 for me.
