HELSTROM: Production Has Officially Wrapped On Season 1 Of The Upcoming Hulu Series

Marvel Studios may be in charge of small screen Marvel offerings from now on, but Helstrom is still one leftover remnant, and it's now been confirmed that work on the first season has already wrapped!

Helstrom is the final Marvel TV show of the Jeph Loeb era to head our way, and season one (consisting of 10 episodes) is coming to Hulu in the not too distant future.

Now, it's been confirmed that work on the show has concluded...and just in time.

Star Alain Uy shared an Instagram post confirming that work on the series had concluded earlier today, but it's since been deleted so perhaps those famed Marvel snipers tracked him down!

Details about the series remain few and far between, but we know Helstrom will follow siblings Daimon and Ana, the children of a notorious, demonic serial killer. They hunt those that prey on the innocent in secret, while maintaining their covers as an ethics professor and auction house supervisor. Along the way, they discover secret occult organizations that have been at war for years.

It doesn't sound much like the comics, and Kevin Feige is probably glad because it's highly unlikely this will be tied to the wider Marvel Cinematic Universe in any way.
Helstrom consisting of just one season seems plausible, and it feels as if the show could be just the Marvel version of Lucifer, a series with a devoted fanbase thanks to the hunky Tom Ellis!

Sort of a waste of a production at this point.

How does being a one and done make it not worth it? If it ends up being great it’s great regardless of whether or not we get more. I don’t see the problem.

Guess it all depends on quality of show. If the reception is good enough but they'll keep it afloat.

Anyway looking forward to the MCU R-rated content on Hulu. Doesn't matter whose in charge now. Hulu will be the home of Marvel R-rated
