Mark your calendars because Marvel Television has officially announced this morning that their Inhumans series will premiere on the ABC Television Nework on Friday, September 29 at 9 p.m EST

This date will follow the exclusive two-week IMAX engagmenet, which begins September 1 and will screen the first two episodes that were filmed entirely with IMAX cameras. The highly ambitious series reportedly boasts a $200 million+ budget and Marvel is betting heavily on the improved VFX being able to result in some box office gold, akin to their cinematic brethren, come this fall.

A new poster has also been released featuring the three most prominent figures in the Inhuman royal family: Anson Mount (Hell on Wheels) as Black Bolt, Serinda Swan (Smallville) as Medusa, and Iwan Rheon (Game of Thrones) as Maximus the Mad. Check it out below:

The Inhumans, a race of superhumans with diverse and singularly unique powers, were first introduced in Marvel Comics by Stan Lee and Jack Kirby in 1965. Since that time, they have grown in prominence and become some of the most popular and iconic characters in the Marvel Universe. “Marvel’s The Inhumans” will explore the never-before-told epic adventure of Black Bolt and the royal family.

Inhumans features:
Anson Mount as Black Bolt
Serinda Swan as Medusa
Iwan Rheon as Maximus
Ken Leung as Karnak
Eme Ikwuakor as Gorgon
Isabelle Cornish as Crystal
Mike Moh as Triton
Sonya Balmores as Auran
Ellen Woglom in an undisclosed role

Inhumans premieres in IMAX September 1, everywhere else September 29
