A new international poster for the upcoming Ms. Marvel Disney+ series has found its way online, giving us another look at The MCU's first Pakistani superhero (Iman Vellani) striking a classic pose in full costume.

What we've seen from Ms. Marvel so far seems to have been mostly well-received, but fans of the character were disappointed by the decision to significantly alter Kamala Khan's "embiggening" powers for her live-action bow. Both Kevin Feige and co-creator Sana Amanat have addressed the backlash in recent interviews, but we're not sure their explanations were considered to be entirely satisfactory.

Khan will debut in Ms. Marvel before going on to join fellow cosmically-powered heroes Carol Danvers (Brie Larson) and Monica Rambeau (Teyonah Parris) on the big screen in The Marvels next year.

Check out the new poster below.

"Ms. Marvel is a new, original series that introduces Kamala Khan, a Muslim American teenager growing up in Jersey City," reads the updated synopsis. "An avid gamer and a voracious fan-fiction scribe, Kamala is a Super Hero mega fan with an oversized imagination—particularly when it comes to Captain Marvel. Yet Kamala feels like she doesn’t fit in at school and sometimes even at home—that is, until she gets super powers like the heroes she’s always looked up to. Life gets better with super powers, right?"

Ms. Marvel also stars Aramis Knight, Saagar Shaikh, Rish Shah, Zenobia Shroff, Mohan Kapur, Matt Lintz, Yasmeen Fletcher, Laith Nakli, Azhar Usman, Travina Springer, and Nimra Bucha.

I know some people are down on the Marvel+ stuff, and the MCU as a whole seems a bit schizophrenic post-Endgame, but there's still something magical to me about getting to see comic books brought to live-action.

There have always been compromises and limitations and just good-old-fashioned lack of ambition in every era of superhero adaptation, but this is the first time we're getting all of these different heroes getting a fairer share of the limelight.

@Spock0Clock - Yeah, I have the impression most people forgot (or weren't really born yet) the time when those movies were all but dreams for CB fans, and all we had were batman schumacher ones coming up.

@Spock0Clock - I agree with you. If you take into considerations how long comics have been around and the numerous attempts to bring iconic characters to screen that have failed, it's simply amazing that we live in this time of numerous adaptations! I feel so fortunate to get to see these characters brought to life with good vfx and A-List actors and giant companies funding their on-screen adventures.

@Spock0Clock - If they weren’t adapted like shit, I’d be happy. Justice for Taskmaster and Shang-Chi. They ruined those characters.

I think it's kind of a shame that Carol's second movie is a team up movie. I think Brie could do really well in a solo flick if the plot was just a bit stronger than the first.

@TheManWithoutFear - Her first movie was basically a team-up movie with Fury, too. I don't mind Carol being part of an ensemble, but I would have strongly preferred "Captain Marvel and the Starjammers" for a sequel, rather than a Marvel Corps.

I'm still not sold on the change of her powers or the reasoning for it, but damn, if they didn't nail this costume.

@GhostDog - Funny, domino masks are always a weak spot in live action IMHO.

@Fogs - the comic-bookier the better for me sometimes. Domino masks are one of those elements that just scream “comic book” and I love to see them fully realized.

A lot of people are afraid of them. Makes me scared for Robin in the Reeves-verse
