First Official POWERS Still Introduces The Leads

USA Today have debuted our first look at the small screen adaptation of Brian Michael Bendis' comic series. Meet Sharlto Copley (District 9) as Christian Walker, and Susan Heyward (The Following) as Deena Pilgrim after the jump.

Brian Michael Bendis will executive produce the show, with David Slade directing the first two episodes. Powers is currently in its fourth week of filming in Atlanta, and no air-date has been set for its 10-episode first season. It will première on the Sony PlayStation Network, and also stars Michelle Forbes, Eddie Izzard, and Noah Taylor. There's more at the link below.

Susan Heyward?... Ahh yeah, she played Joe Caroll's adopted psycho daughter who stabbed her mother - she was alright in that (if a bit one-dimensional character-wise) - hopefully she'll have more acting scope here

As a huge fan of the source material here, this is terrible. I have no issues with any people group, and honestly I'm less upset about her, he's the opposite of the character. Stick to the sources on these things.
