With a stellar reception from early critics, FOX's upcoming X-Men family drama, The Gifted, has easily become this fall's most anticipated television series and based on what we know about the series premiere, the show is going to hit the ground running, getting off to an explosive start as the Struckers go on the run.

While the season premiere isn't until October 2nd, FOX has gone ahead and released photos from the second episode, which will see Eclipse (Sean Teale) team-up with Caitlin Strucker (Amy Acker) on a quest to find a special serum that could hold the key to saving Blink's life. Meanwhile, Polaris (Emma Dumont), who is now sporting her comic-accurate green hair, runs into some major trouble. The photos also give us our first look at Roderick Campbell (
Garret Dillahunt).

Check out twenty-one promotional stills from episode two, titled "rX," below:

Honestly if this show is really good i think they should make X-men into a tv show because it seems like they are struggling to handle it in the movies.

@Jackal - while I think they should still do films. I think they could maybe get away with spinoff solo tv series (which are canon to the films).
Most of the new cast (storm, Jean etc) aren't "big stars" so are not above TV. I would actually say now we are getting to a point were there is no distinctions between "tv" and "movie actors"; many big stars are doing to shows.

@Polaris - I think it's a great shaded green for a balance between the comic shade and something realistic (though it quite common to se people with bright green hair nowadays).

The only thing they messed up is that Polaris and Havok are a thing a some point but since they burned that bridge with him on it that cant happen.
