DARK CRYSTAL Prequel Pics Unveiled; Voice Cast Includes Taron Egerton, Anya-Taylor Joy, Mark Hamill & More

Netflix has unveiled some preview images and the full voice cast for its upcoming Dark Crystal: Age of Resistance series, and there is some major talent involved in this show. Find out more after the jump.

It's been a while since we had any updates on Netflix's Dark Crystal prequel series, but the streaming giant has now unveiled three official stills along with the show's massive, not to mention insanely impressive, voice-cast.

The main trio of characters are Gelflings named Rian, Brea and Deet; who'll be voiced by Taron Egerton (Kingsman), Anya Taylor-Joy (Glass), and Nathalie Emmanuel (Game of Thrones), respectively. They'll be joined by an enormous vast of A-list talent, which includes Mark Hamill, Helena Bonham-Carter, Toby Jones, Alicia Vikander, Simon Pegg and Andy Samberg.

@Nebula - Watch the original movie, then get back to us. It is great fun, and beautifully designed. Search for Brian Froud Dark Crystal. The art is absolutely amazing.

The puppets faces seem to have been based on the actors playing them... or am I seeing things? Anyway, they look adorable!

@StarlordsDad - In the 80’s Jim Henson did a full-on fantasy movie using all creature-effects puppets and no humans on screen... the heroes were elf-like creatures called Gelflings, and the villains were vulture like Skeksis. Netflix is doing a sequel:
