Set 30 years in the future, colonization in space is now a reality, and the Robinson family is among those tested and selected to make a new life for themselves in a better world. I'll check it out for sure.

Remember the big screen version with Joey from Friends? One of the worst movies I've seen.

Seems like it could have a Star Trek vibe going for it. Well that’s my hope at least. I’ll try checking this out.

Speaking of Star Trek. Is the new show worth a watch?

"The Earth is only our home as long as it serves that purpose????" MAJOR Ecological FAIL. As if human beings are not DIRECTLY responsible for the damage wrought here. Wow!

@BillyBatson1000 - You do realize that every extinction-level global event to date has been natural, right? I mean, I believe in global warming, too, but calm your shit.

@BackwardGalaxy - the subtext of the speech is irresponsible. I'm not talking about the ACTUAL reason they have to leave.

@BillyBatson1000 - it’s a remake of a silly scifi show, not An Inconvenient Truth. It has no duty to be ‘responsible’ for you.
