The very first promotional still from the second season of Showtime's Penny Dreadful has been released, and features Ethan Chandler (Josh Hartnett) comforting Vanessa Ives (Eva Green).

We'll have a new main villain when the show returns in 2015 -- Madame Kali, the spiritualist and medium who hosted the Seance in the second episode of the first season. Says Showtime president David Nevins of the character: "There’s a great antagonist next year played by Helen McCrory… Season 1’s antagonist was sort of an inhuman character. It’ll be good to have a more human antagonist.”

This is honestly my fav show on TV and one of the best. Its so mature and gothic and just cleverly written! Love it! And there's naked Eva Green...what more could you ask for!

Some episodes were damn good and others, meh. Eva Green steals the show, but personally I'll pass on season 2.

as Andree24 showed...Eva Green would be the PERFECT Catwoman, i hope Marvel would nab her soon and maybe cast her as either Dr. Strange's Clea or Inhumans' Medusa. casting her as Amora would be too type-casting and NOT fresh.
