Some of literature's most terrifying characters, including Dr. Frankenstein, Dorian Gray, and iconic figures from the novel Dracula are lurking in the darkest corners of Victorian London. PENNY DREADFUL is a frightening psychological thriller that weaves together these classic horror origin stories into a new adult drama.




Starring Josh Hartnett, Eva Green, Timothy Dalton, Rory Kinnear, Harry Treadaway, Reeve Carney and Billie Piper, Penny Dreadful will debut on Showtime in 2014.

@DukeNukem...it was "Lucky Number Slevin". "Seven" was a Freeman/Pitt/Spacey flic.

I will probably check this out, but it's funny to me how the creator acts like this is a supremely original idea, when we've already seen it in Comic Book form with The League of Extraordinary Gentlemen. But this can't be worse than the film.
